1日だけだが、夜中3時頃まで部屋の壁が振動するほどの騒音で寝れなかった。 換気が悪くシャワーを浴びていると壁床結露が酷い。 洗面シンク、排水が悪く、水がなかなか引かない。 近所にコンビニキオスク等無く、ちょっとした買物もできなかった(ヒューストンダウンタウン全体にコンビニは少ないようだが)。

Shower water pressure was very irregular, plus it went from warm to really hot each 10 seconds, which was uncomfortable

The property is under major renovations. That being said, the renovation quality is more like"landlord special" the floors are uneven, tiles are loose and popping out, and everything has the thick layer or paint in an attempt to hide cracks and chips underneath. The ceilings are low cracked, and look like they are buckling under the weight of something unseen above. The air is stagnant and smells of chlorine and disinfectant. The staff was great, but conditions of the hotel are the worst.

Very accessible, clean, and peaceful place. The staff is super friendly. Easy to get to, and perfect for going to and from anywhere in Houston. An excellent choice

There is construction around hotel. Many carts in hallways. The hotel is rather old and had a smell to it luckily the room was nice however even though reservation was made for 4 guests there were only 3 towels in the room.

Enjoyed the stay went to the pool multiple time my son loved it. Breakfast wasn’t to bad. And found a place close by for me and my brother to unwind and have a drink or two.

I was very disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The room was clearly outdated and had a persistent musty smell that made it uncomfortable from the start. The walls were in need of fresh paint, and the curtain rod was broken, with noticeable stains on the curtains themselves. The bathroom was also in poor condition. There was excessive caulking around fixtures, seemingly used to cover up old, deteriorated caulking rather than make proper repairs. Overall, it felt like a quick fix rather than a maintained space. The biggest issue was the bed. It was very uncomfortable, with a noticeable lump running down the center of the mattress. It’s clear that the mattress is overdue for replacement. I expected much better from a Holiday Inn & Suites in a downtown location. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Nasty and disgusting

I chose this hotel because of the pictures on the website and the amenities. However, it looked nothing like what was on the website. Everything was looking bad from the time we pulled up. We had to enter the building by going around a big industrial trashcan. When we walked in the lobby the furniture was dirty. You should not see filth when you first walk in. First impressions are lasting impressions. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt because it looked like renovations were being done but when I went upstairs it looked more like a motel than a hotel. The room had a horrible smell like mildew. The light on the left side kept going off like it had a shortage. The room and bathroom were falling apart and should not have been offered for anyone to stay in. The jacuzzi and pool looked like there had been no maintenance. Whoever the owner is should really take notes if there are numerous people with the same complaints and make the proper corrections sooner than later. If not, they should only put people in the rooms that have already been renovated because these conditions are hazardous to one's health. There was one positive thing. The breakfast was good. Thank you breakfast staff!

Was a great stay. stayed in a suite and it was very nice.

People were nice and rooms were clean, but they need to do something about the humidity in the rooms

Great space, amenities were up to our expectations and we enjoyed our stay. Only two things weren't very great: one, being the windows and how loud the outside noises come through. Second, the people who stayed in the room before us, pulled a "Ross" on the standing lamps.

Great breakfast, within walking distance to Astros game and felt safe. Hotel was very quiet!

Booked a double queen room, the nicer one's with comfortable beds, soon as we got off the elevator it was so hot & humid, instantly started sweating, and construction trash, smells were out of control, the construction crew had their kid running the hall. We get to our room & it was nice, then the noises started, drilling & banging on the wall in the room next to us. Asked the front desk what time they would be completed working for the evening & was told midnight! So they moved us to another room where the ac barley worked, and the bed was smaller & could feel the springs. Just horrible, the pool wasn't any better, hot tub didn't work & the entrance is blocked off. Had i known this place was under this much construction i for sure would not have booked. We had a nice day at this location, but it could really use a renovation. There were lamps and electronics in the hotel room that didn’t even work. It was nothing that was so inconvenient that we felt like we needed to complain, but the hotel overall really needs some renovation. Excellent location in downtown, walkable, restaurants, and things close by so it is a nice place to stay in that regards. The staff are all very nice and accommodating.
