古かったです。レセプションの方はフレンドリーでよかった。

老舗かも知れませんが、設備が古いです。便利な場所ではなく、治安も良くないようでした。

Very convenient but Wifi connection is too poor

all in all good, besides expensive parking and the elevators being expired on their maintenance check.

The hotel is very cute and clean with a great restaurant in the lobby. The area is a little older and not the totally safest feel if you have kids but there is a couple great restaurants close and walkable. Downtown is very cute. You just need to be careful which path you take when walking around.

For the cost, stay was not good. No refrigerator, no microwave. Parking questionable. Staff was excellent, and accommodating, but not worth the cost.

Friendly staff

The staff was awesome beginning with parking and ending with check out. Every single employee was nice, professional, and went above and beyond. The hotel was clean, smelled freshly, and decorated tastefully. The staff was great when it came to directions, parking and recommendations. This will be my go hotel in Birmingham in the future!’

Our stay was not what we expected. The air conditioning was out, tv was glitching, stains on carpet and towels and leaking shower. Disappointed with our accommodation

We checked in on Friday 16, 2025 for my nephew‘a graduation from the Performing Arts. Immediately upon entering the hotel, very hot, and the air wasn’t musty but it wasn’t pleasant on level 1, checking in, however tue test of the floors were musty, with a mild smell. The ice machine was not working on any floor. For this to be rated a 4 star hotel, we had no place to sit other than the bed, my daughter had to stand and eat her food due to there being no chair or table. I had to eat on the bed with a towel to protect getting bed dirty. There were nats flying around. No trash can. The remote was taped up with black tape. The Tv was blurry with red spots. The bathroom did not have a towel bar. The utility/housekeeping door wide open. The staff asked me “well, ma’am” what do you want me to do?” I checked out the next morning, had planned to stay 2 nights. This was an horrible experience.

A bit of a mixed review. So I guess it depends on your personal preferences and type of visit. This property is an older property with two old very small elevators. Family and friends booked most of the hotel for my daughter’s wedding. Only one of the elevators was working our entire stay. Very inconvenient for a weekend of wedding activities and quick in and out changes. We were on the 12th floor so stairs were not an option in high heels and long gowns. However, the room was more modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was roomy! Towels were new and clean. It is for these reasons I gave a higher score. The valet parking was a bit of a hassle as there is not very much room out front for checking in or out. And it’s expensive. The valet staff were amazing but we ended up parking in paid parking after already paying valet parking because of limited front access. There are restaurants within distance which was convenient because we didn’t want to deal with the hassle of the car. Even though you could go in and out as much as you wanted. There is a rooftop bar that was busy. We did not try the hotel restaurant. I hope this honest review helps you make a decision.

The decor is nice and emphasizes art deco "20's" Ms. Ricky is a great asset at the front desk!

Provided incorrect room and refused to make accommodations

I was a little disappointed in the hotel. Their “gym” doesn’t match the photos and has little equipment. The room was humid and wouldn’t really cool down. The shower water would never get truly hot. They also said there was room service and dining but there was no way to look at a menu. Also the WiFi provided did not exist as a network option. Just overall not the best. Probably wouldn’t go again.

This is a great spot. Older hotel with many upgrades. Staff super nice. Restaurant and bars were delicious and nice. My only complaint is the water wasn’t hot enough, but otherwise a great stay!
