Band was playing all night, but it was fun

The resort was quaint but a little outdated. At first I thought I would stay here again because of its quaintness, But the housekeeping was very lax. 2 of the 4 nights we stayed there wasn't any sign of the room being made up... didn't receive clean towels or the bed made.

It was a nice room but the common areas should be modernized like the rooms. Nice temperature in the room, not noisy, and nice pool. Close to Lido Beach, some restaurants, and convenient stores as CVS, Walmart and Dollar Store.

Really cute hotel. Love the tiki bar and retro fridge and microwave!!!

Pool, tiki bar and patio are outside of room was excellent however the stay was let down by uncomfortable beds and air conditioning not working properly.

It was fine, but I’m not sure why they call a resort. It’s a step above a motel.

We stayed at the Golden Host Resort because my wife was having a double mastectomy at the nearby hospital. We really loved the apperance of the resort, very clean. My wife came back after an overnight stay in the hospital, she was tired and in a lit of pain and she commented on how comfortable the bed was and how quiet the room was. The staff were so helpful and friendly. It is such a nice little hotel with a very clean pool. The morning we were getting to check out we saw a duck in the pool just swimming around, duck approved resort. Thank you to the staff

The room had a musty odor. The condition oif the room is poor. Shower was good and the bed was fine. I only stayed one night and didn't take advantage of the amenities.

The on site bar and pool were convenient

What a cool, retro property. Very comfortable. Nice Tiki Bar on site. Antique style refrigerator & microwave were very cool. The pool was a nice added perk. Would definitely stay there again.

To much noise outside our room all night long plus a buzzing sound all night

Policy of putting deposit on my credit card instead of on hold was very upsetting to me. For that reason alone I would not stay there again.

Overall good, rooms were well furnished and styled very fun. Only downsides were the room was a bit dirty, and for some reason our room was very humid inside even with the ac on high. During our stay the weather was not humid or overly warm, but for some reason our room was very humid compared to outside.
