We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this hotel. The staff at check in and throughout the hotel were very helpful and friendly, we stayed in the deluxe twin double room, it was very spacious and room cleaned every day. We really enjoyed the use of the pool, sauna, and hot tub. The meals at the restaurant were of an exceptionally high standard, consistently well-presented and delicious. We also really enjoyed breakfast. Especially the freshly made buttermilk pancakes. Very happy we booked into your lovely hotel.

Breakfast was awesome Surprised that as a spa hotel there was no complimentary body lotion After a sweltering first night we got a fan which made a great difference It was a shame we didn’t get to use the gym and pool but hotel was ideally placed for the visits we needed to make. Good value, particularly with the included breakfast.

The stay experiences this time was very bad, the fire alarm was ON at 5:00 am in the early morning, everyone went out for fire evacuation. After 20 minutes, we went back to the room and the fire alarm kept to ON every 30 minutes until 9am. It was so annoying and really can't sleep from 5am to 9am and I need to check out at 11am on that day. I tried to call front desk to see what happened the fire alarm kept to ON, but no one pick up the call. Very disappeared to stay in this hotel.

A great place to stay. Good, freshly cooked breakfast with items made to order too. Separate GF station. Good quality tea etc. Staff were so helpful on a number of matters. Pool was good but always quite busy. All very clean and modern with lots of seating areas. Bedrooms can get a bit hot in a heatwave as windows only open 4” (standard health and safety I think) but we were given a fan. Also air con downstairs. Great for charging elec cars. We would recommend

Great little hotel with a classic British ambiance

We booked the spa and hotel stay package directly with the hotel for my partner's birthday and we absolutely loved it and had a great time! Big thanks to Lily at the spa for an amazing facial, great chat and advice as to which products I should be using to keep my skin smooth and fresh. Thank you also Emily for a lovely check in experience, she was very calm and friendly and made us feel properly welcomed at the hotel. Thank you!

Was shocked to find that the pool is booked for an exercise class from 08:00 to 08:45. Nobody mentioned this. No instructions on how to use room heater or Towel rail.

Was very happy staying here for 2 nights every think was satisfactory.

Staff were okay. No enthusiasm or whatsoever and just literally gave us the welcome paper and that's it. Restaurant staff were slightly better as they were a bit more welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was basic and dry. We wanted to swim and use the pool with our baby but weren't allowed as they told us that there's only a time allowed for babies, however this wasn't explained to us upon checking in and a bit of consideration and 'hospitality' could go a long way as we requested that even a quick lounge would really be appreciated but nothing. Again, dry communication.

Clean room, the gym and spa facilities are 5*

Reception was lovely, friendly and informative. All was good but far stairwell was very smelly and filthy carpets.

Selection at breakfast could be improved. More staff at checkin at peak times, (4pm-7pm) to avoid lengthy wait times. Reception staff actually be sorry for keeping you waiting. Rooms good and clean. Evening food menu very limited. Dedicated bus parking, rather than just parking them outside the front blocking the hotel entrance.
