It was a very nice experience and great location.

Disappointed in my stay considering the price of the room was 400+ dollars. 1. Room was dirty. I found some hair on the bathroom floor and the floors in the room - some type of fake hard wood looking floor - were very dirty as if they hadn't been cleaned / mopped in a long time. I noticed this when something was spilled and I wiped it up with a cloth and the cloth was absolutely filthy. 2. Sink was slow draining and would start to fill up with water after running the faucet, other people in our party in another room noticed the same thing. 3. Shower drain had a cover that was not even attached and loose, which I noticed when taking a shower. I put it back, but noticed it was not even screwed in. 4. Room was on the ground floor and has a patio, but its just a mostly dirt area ouside around it with poor landscaping and a privacy fence hiding the street. Didn't feel right to pay this much for a room and not have a well landscaped or nice gardened area outside. Note we noticed most of this Saturday night after check-in and we had plans so couldn't wait around for cleaning / maintainance and we were only there for one night. But all these issues show the hotel is not well cleaned or maintained in my opinion. Mgmt gave me 60 dollars off, but the room was over 400 with taxes so no much of a refund really. Very disppointed considering how the pictures show the hotel on orbitz. On the bright side, breakfast was very good the next day and beds were comfortable.

Great Location rooms, & staff, Parking can be tight.

The room had dog hair all over the carpet prior to our arrival. My wife and I booked this stay to get away for a short trip of peace and relaxation. The walls were paper thin. We would hear the people next to us with everything they did and said. They had a baby that was crying from 8pm to at least 3am. We would not stay here again if it was offered for free. Huge mistake.

Booked this property because of the price. Not expecting much. We definitely found a hidden gem. Dated rooms, but very clean, and staff was so friendly and nice. Fireplace was a big plus. Bedding was soft and cozy. Bathroom was clean. Honestly I was super happy. Would definitely book again.

Booked a Deluxe Juinor Suite and was not disappointed. Room was very clean and staff were quick to help with any questions we had.

Just what I expected, it was just fine.

This isn’t a boutique hotel. It’s very dated, old, and has substantial cleanliness issues. Do yourself (and your Family) a favor and book elsewhere. The pictures and description are extremely misleading.

It was in a convenient location and the buildings were building. The inside is also a very nice size and decorated beautifully. However, you can tell the buildings are quite old because the floor squeaked everywhere. And the outside trash by the elevator attracted lots of flies, which kind of ruined the ambiance. Overall, it was a good stay for the price and location and I would recommend it.

Needs a little updating such as weather stripping around the entry doors.

We had a junior suite. The room was very nice. The only complaint is we were right on the street. The street was very noisy!! Non stop cars, it kept us up most of the night. Breakfast was pretty decent. Love that it’s within walking distance of the wharf and shops.

Really cool room. Love the architecture and working fireplace was a bonus.

Good location. Walking distance to Old Fishmen’s wharf and downtown district area. Breakfast is included. Spacious room with all the functionality needed.

The hotel is relatively old, the rooms are large, the furnishings are old, the ground and lounge chairs in the balcony and garden are not clean, especially some outdoor grounds have many fallen leaves that have not been swept. It makes walking inconvenient, especially not conducive to the elderly. In short, the sanitary conditions are poor and the breakfast is too simple. It is convenient to travel, and you can walk to downtown and Fisherman's Wharf in a few minutes.

Lots of road noise and limited supply of towels and coffee in the room.

The room was large, quiet, had two showers.

Stayed 1 night in the junior suite. The room was spacious and bed very confortable. However, the lift was tempermental and we were on the top floor with 3 heavy suitcases. But other than that it was a very good location and close to walk to the restaurants for dinner and breakfast, as well as the pier for Whale watching.

Amazing location, beautiful facilities and rooms. Breakfast was okay. We loved our stay regardless and will be back.

Hotellet var generelt ganske fint. Dog er der er springvand i gården som larmer utrolig meget. Vinduer og døre lukker ikke tæt indtil værelserne, så der var virkelig meget larm fra vejen og springvandet om natten. Så slemt at det var svært at sove fra.

The room is more than a bed and bathroom. With the fireplace, couch, dining table and balcony it’s very cozy and comfortable. The host was very pleasant. On site parking for a fee. Less than a 5 minute walk to Fishermans Wharf and maybe 15 to Cannery Row. Love the eclectic layout of the property and the outside seating areas with the fountains. Will definitely be returning.
