Playa Norteに近いということで選びました．早朝にホテルに着き，チェックインは15:00からにも関わらず，準備できた部屋があるとのことで，当初予定されていた内陸側の部屋ではなく，海側に近い部屋を用意してくれました．しかし，我々がファミリー（4名）ということを忘れていたのか，2名分のタオルしかなく，我々も気付かずに最初の1泊を過ごしました．その後は人数分のタオルが用意されましたが，タイル張りの床の掃除にムラがあったこと，トイレの便座が壊れていて左右に動いたこと，ネット環境が少し悪く，部屋ではつながらないこと（ロビーでは快適），あと，設備全体に少し老朽化が進んでいること，などが惜しいと感じました．あと，これはカンクンの多くのホテルに当てはまることかもしれませんが，ホテルの水道水はどうも飲める気がしない変なにおいと味がしました．しかし，ここのホテルは何よりも立地が良く，特にHermosa Caletaへ徒歩2分で行くことが出来ました．またホテルの受付の方も非常に愛想が良く，イスラムヘーレスでの非常に素晴らしい一時を過ごすことが出来ました．Oceanvs beach clubで取る朝食も，フルーツ沢山のプレートの後，スクランブルエッグ等のプレートを運んできてくれ，良いものでした．子供達も朝食を食べながら砂浜に出て遊ぶことが出来ました．このホテルでは，何よりも「立地」で選ばれることをお勧めします．

ビーチビューのお部屋を予約し決済も済ませていましたが、当日予約が入っていないと言われてビックリしました。予約していた部屋は満室とのことで、初日は予約と違うプールビューのお部屋になってしまいました。かび臭く、トイレの臭いも気になり、とてもここに滞在するのは無理だと思いました。３日しかない１日をかび臭いお部屋で過ごしてしまい残念ではありましたが、次の日からは予約していたお部屋より良いお部屋にランクアップしてもらいましたし、ホテルの対応も良かったと思います。 そして、ホテル前のビーチは最高です！ビーチベッドやレストランなど、とても素晴らしかったです。海を見ながらのんびりするには最高のホテルだと思いました。 ムヘレス島に行くときには、またここに滞在したいと思いました。

ホテルのエリアが道路を挟んで２つにわかれており、私たちが宿泊した部屋はビーチとは逆の部屋でした。 その部屋はとても薄暗くて陽当たりも悪く、夜は蚊がいてぐっすり寝れず、あまり居心地がよくなかったです。ただ、ホテルの前のビーチはとても綺麗で素晴らしかったので、また次回行くとしたらビーチ側の部屋に宿泊したいです。

This hotel is not for honeymoon but for just for simple stay to enjoy Isla Mujeres. If you expect comfortable stay, you would rather go for other higher class hotels. No TV, no fridge, WiFi at reception area only. Rooms are not on the beach, you may partially see beach though.

The AC was excellent. Book a room as far as you can away from the street. Loud music and party vibes at noc. Usually quiet by 11 pm. Hot water not hot on two days. Internet signal lost a half of the stations on my last night.

Grossräumiges Zimmer, Klimaanlage zuverlässig, kleiner Kühlschrank für Getränke, sehr freundliches Personal. Frühstück im Hotel gegenüber war ausreichend, man konnte sich a la carte ein Gericht bestellen, dazu Saft und Kaffee oä. Von dort aus direkter Zugang zum Strand und deren Beachclub, tolle Lage. In Laufnähe andere Restaurants und Mini-Supermarkt für kalte Getränke und Snacks. Einziges Manko: der Pool ist schön, aber es kommen sofort die Mücken und wir wurden gleich zerstochen. Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen.

Tout était parfait! La plage est extrêmement belle. Le seul point moins agréable est le bruit de la rue. Les fenêtres pourraient être plus insonorisées.

The property is basic. Some rooms are dark and uninviting, others are nice. The hotel photographs look misleadingly great. Read the reviews and note the numerical rating. The shower water pressure was weak and the hot water temperature was room temperature - the two ladies in our group were very uncomfortable with this. Nice to have privileges at the private beach across the street and also at the ridiculously expensive sister hotel there (Jaguar at $550 a nite for peak low season). I got room seevice and the meat was bad and I threw up till 6am. For this, they gave me an upgraded pillow on the beach lounge chair. Honestly! No refund on the meal, not even a complimentary drink. They are very penny pinching, but all nice enough. The air conditioning was good.

Simple, nothing even remotely fancy, across the street from their nice private beach, 4 hotel rooms per structure, barely enough water pressure and hot water for a shower, powerful air conditioning, no lobby, small shaded pool, noisy neighborhood at night at bed time, decent breakfast included, steep steps to 2nd level units are tough for elders, somewhat bohemian. About a 10 - 15 minute walk to the bustling fun town center, 25 minute walk to the water taxis to Cancun.

The garden area, lobby and pool area were beautiful. The location on Playa Norte is excellent! However the rooms are in need of updates and maintenance. The stairway to our room was very steep and some of the steps are placed at a dangerous angle and not level. In the room the lamp needs to be replaced and the fixture in the bathroom sink also needs to be replaced. The hairdryer was falling apart and handle broken.

A bit noisy from people walking by at nite talking and playing music. There is no lobby. Open grounds, small structures with connecting pathways, each has 4 units in them. A block from its own private beach it shares with its much nicer sister hotel across the street.

En general, precio, instalaciones y ubicación excelente, el servicio y calidad de los alimentos del restaurante muy buenas y el personal atento y de buen Ánimo, sin duda regreso al mismo hotel en la primer oportunidad

The quietest, most beautiful hotel. It is basic amenities and no restaurant (you go to the Jaguar for the free breakfast) and they are very protective of the towels but the pool area is breathtaking and the included beach club beds are just what you need.

Na Balam estaba antes en la propiedad que da al mar y ahora lo dejaron al otro lado de la calle. Los colchones de la cama terribles, el mini bar vacío sin funcionar, la habitación oscura. El área de playa designada para Na Balam fea y los camastros todos rotos con el relleno expuesto. El personal es muy amable, el desayuno en el hotel de enfrente también super bien, pero las instalaciones de Na Balam no tanto, solo el área de alberca que se mantiene como hace años, muy bien.

Me encantó Na Balam, tienen camastros para cada habitación, eso fue un plus, el próximo año, estaremos solo ahí, una semana, ya no en Cancún

Hotel has a sister property that guests are allowed to use called La casa del Jaguar. Sebastian who works in this resort was extremely rude to me and my family. He told us we were not allowed to walk through the hotel and had to walk around. He said we each had to have a bracelet on to be allowed through. when our receptionist clearly only gave us one for the whole family. When I came back to the hotel to inquire about this i was indeed told we did the correct thing and didn’t need a bracelet each. Very un pleasant situation. I met with the manager to la casa del Jaguar who assured me we had access to the beach through their hotel and to disregard what he had said. Nonetheless it made for an unpleasant encounter. Hotel claims this is a sister hotel but the whole time you are there you are treated inferior than the guests at this resort. Na Balam hotel staff was very accommodating and understanding. Hotel was always very clean and the rooms were perfect for a family of 5.

The hotels location, its beauty and most importantly the staff! Fredrico the hotel manager was very accommodating. My mom has sight challenges and he was able to get my mom a room closer to the amenities. Very grateful! Lina at concierge was friendly and very helpful too! Sonny at the bar was always prompt with drinks and food at the beach! Thank you guys! I will definitely miss this hoteland its staff! Will definitely be back! Muchas gracias!
