エクスペディアで友達と２ベッドの予約をして、ホテルから予約確認のメールとアップグレードの案内のメールが来たのにもかかわらず、18時頃、チェックインしようとしたら、部屋が取れていない。２ベッドに泊まりたかったら、他の部屋へ行ってくれと。ここを選んだ理由が隣に歩いて行けるショッピングモールがあるからで、幸いにも空きがあったのはキングベッド。キングベッドで宿泊しました。メールをチェックすると予約した時より100ドル以上高い。夜中でしたが、エクスペディアに相談して、ホテルの営業部と交渉してもらい、数日後元の値段に戻りましたが、チェックインの時のレセプションの女性は冷たい態度でした。旅行はたくさんしていますが、こんな対応は初めてでした。 タオルとゴミは毎日部屋の外に置いて、ベッドメイクはなし。タオルは毎日レセプションに取りにいきました。キッチン、電子レンジ、IHレンジ台、冷蔵庫付のため、日本から食材を持ち込みました。歩いて行けるスーパーマーケットやSUBWAYで食材を持ち帰りました。 コインランドリーは１階にあり、部屋のキーを使って開けます。でもここがコインランドリーと書いていないので、働いている方に聞きました。床のじゅうたんはスーツケースを転がしにくく、部屋が迷路のようで、自分の部屋に行くのに、よく迷子になりました。 簡単な朝食付きで有難かったです。 隣のショッピングセンターですが、ATMのあたりに、夕方いつも浮浪者がいました。

Ants 🐜 in room. Had to go to front desk for towels. No extra blanket for sofa bed. Paying for parking. Staff not to friendly,. Elevator and floors dirty.

Excellent service and flexibility

The room was updated recently. The only complaint I have is the carpet smells. I could smell the unpleasant odor when I was sleeping.

We got the suites with the king size bed. The suite is very spacious and clean. We also used the sofa bed in the living room, it is comfortable. Breakfast is provided every morning. Very close to highway and stores. Definitely will come back next time.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to start the day right. The service was excellent—special thanks to Skip and Miranda, who were incredibly helpful when I had an issue with my first room. They quickly arranged a room change with no hassle and were very kind throughout the process. Another big plus is the location: several bus lines pass nearby, which is perfect if you’re not driving, and there are restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for such a pleasant stay!

Took 1 hour wait to get our room check in at 4 took 1hour more before room is ready a. 5 pm not good

A disappointing Stay at Sonesta ES Suites San Diego-Sorrento Mesa. At Check In we had arrived a little earlier (2:30pm) than the 4 pm check in time and were told our rooms (2 of them) were not ready yet but one 'could be' at 3:30 with a $40 charge. We had a business function in that area to attend so we agreed to the $40 charge and all of a sudden one room was ready (why couldn't we jut get into it a little early then?). The room was spacious which was nice and there was a nice kitchenette with large refrigerator (very nice to have). There was garbage (filled bucket and more behind it with fast food things) under the sink area. There were NO hangers or hanging rod in our other room! I have never see that before in a hotel closet! Disappointing!
