空港について初日は、ベストウェスタンはベストなチョイスだと思っています。 チェックイン時間を気にせずよく、場所も見つけやすく、清潔で、ゆっくり休むことができます。今回も、道が混んでおり、チェックインが夜10時を超えていましたが、問題ありませんでした。 レストランが改装中でいつもとは違ったら形だったかも知れませんが、朝食も良いものでした、

素敵なお部屋と美味しい食事、静かな環境で大変満足しました。

雰囲気のある英国の建物で、部屋も広く満足でした。朝食はノーマルなイギリス風。中心街からも徒歩可能。不満はWi-Fiが弱かったことぐらいです。

歴史ある建物をうまくリノベートして滞在しやすくしていました。超高級ホテルという感じではありませんが、コストパフォーマンスも高いと思います。スタッフは皆感じの良い人たちで親切に対応してもらいました。

市内中心、大聖堂から徒歩約10分の苦にならない距離。寧ろ静寂に囲まれ市内より寛ぐ事ができました。至る所に趣味の良い絵画が飾られ和ませてくれる。部屋自体のスペースは広くは無いが清潔感にあふれて快適に過ごすことが出来た。次回また機会が有れば訪れたい場所である。

カンタベリーの駅からは少し遠いですが、部屋の装飾やスタッフは非常に好ましかったです。バーに取り揃えてあるお酒の種類も多くてよかった。

When we checked in the Climate Control was not working correctly and the staff moved us to a new room. The problem was that the room had no climate control either and it was absolutely freezing in the room. The hotel staff was nice and admitted they were having problems with climate control system and said it would be fixed on Monday which is was not. The grout around the tile in the bathroom was missing and the shower hose separated from the shower head. The hotel did repair the shower on the Monday, however, Monday, it happened again. The hotel was a nice property but just need a little extra TLC.

The overall property is in need of care. It is a very interesting, almost grand building but it needs refurbishing and better maintenance. The staff was welcoming and tried to be helpful (see below) We had reserved a room with air conditioning. It did not work. We were told that the system would be replaced by the summer! We asked for a fan, we were given a small broken clip fan, we made it work somehow. The food at the temporary restaurant was limited in choice and quality because of ongoing work at the main restaurant. We had been told about the work through an email message from the property after we had reserved. There is a bar but little knowledge as to how to make even basic cocktails. The breakfast buffet was good with a good choice of food, the coffee machine needed to be thoroughly repaired or changed, it did not percolate efficiently for americanos or expressos.

The floor above creaked terribly. I was on the second floor. Very noisy from about 11pm to midnight and again for half an jour in the morning.

Nice hotel, going through a refurbishment, so quite noisy early morning, unfortunately we had an issue with the heating system in the room, they did provide an electric heater but we didn’t use….everything seemed nice and clean but there were tea marks on the carpet next to the bin, the duvet didn’t fit the cover, it was too long head to toe but too small from left to right, I just think whoever made the bed, didn’t fit the duvet to the cover properly…..the staff seemed pleasant enough, not to much interaction…I would recommend but after the refurbishment was completed..

Hotel is lovely, our suite was very comfortable and decorated lovely. The staff were very helpful and polite.

Hotel was very quiet as it was a Sunday - it is also currently being renovated - I wasn’t offered a refurbished room until I asked specifically if any were available after I had already checked in. Old room was very dated, had a creaky floor, tap dripping and whistling extractor fan in bathroom. I’m not sure if the newer room we had was same grade as much smaller room size and double rather than king size bed. Decor much better and bathroom nice. Breakfast buffet was poor, my partner gave the full English 3/10 - quite a small portion served. machine coffee like dishwater - not proper filter coffee. Service was good but there were less than 10 people dining so not sure how it would be on a busy day with one staff member. Plus point was free parking and only 10 minute walk into town. Would maybe go back when renovations completed.

Toilet had to pump handle to get it to flush, sink didn't drain quickly so obviously blocked . Should have been picked up by anyone cleaning the room. 1 plug socket and no where near bed. coffee machine at breakfast constantly needed maintainance by staff - saying needed cleaning so didn't enjoy coffee knowing that. hopefully all these issues will be resolved after the upgrade - didnt bother the staff on sunday as had to get to work and upgrade already in progress.

Restaurant was closed but we were assured a full menu would be served in the renovated bar. Only fish and chips, hamburgers, curry, no beer (only Peroni!!) and the bar was empty and soulless. Not how we imagined our celebration with friends would be We complained but the General Manager was only contactable by email. He still has not replied. The hotel is not nearly as grand and welcoming as advertised. There are better places to stay in Canterbury.

Clean comfortable room. Excellent location for walking into the city. The young woman working the bar, and covering reception, was exceptional in customer care.
