The staff the night I checked in was not accommodating & not smiling at all. With regards in the room, it was okay but I hope that the washroom will be cleaned properly, thanks.

The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable, the staff were polite. Parking is free. The building is quite run down and dingey, the room didn't feel thoroughly cleaned (for example, hair on the bathroom counter). Didn't feel the most secure. Wifi was weak in the room, two bars sometimes one.

There wasn’t instructions saying where the entrance was and that the reception was on the second floor. The bed was not super comfortable and breakfast is very basic (coffee was horrible) The shower is weird and I had to call the reception so they could get explain me how to work it. Once it was on I find out by myself that I had to “select” cold of I wanted a hot shower. Anyway, not worth the price

At first I thought the hotel was closed as the parking lot was empty and the doors were locked when I arrived on New Years Eve. Fortunately I found an open door around the other side where hotel guests check in. As it turned out the ballrooms are on the ground level and reception is located on the second floor. Check in was smooth once I found the front desk. Some cleaning in the room was overlooked. The bathroom mirror was dirty and should have been cleaned. A couple of lamps didn't work. Fortunately I had one working bedside lamp which was adequate. Queen bed was a basic mattress but adequate for a night's sleep. Lots of space especially for a solo traveller with a separate bedroom area with a view of Downsview Park / Sheppard Ave and CN Tower can be seen far off in the distance in my south facing room. Very close to the new Downsview subway station and GO train which was convenient since I was traveling on foot and there's not much to see or do in the immediate area unless you're attending an event at Rogers Stadium.

Clean, close to arena for our purposes. Should have breakfast start at 6am for those needing an earlier start.

I would recommend. Felt like home.

Breakfast needs more then cereal and warm yogurt, there isnt anything to do in the hotel like a pool or activities, maybe update the key situation to key cards. TVs to small can hear or see the tv from the beds.
