Very clean but very dated. The room, while clean, had a profound cleaner/antiseptic smell. Everything was operational, but quite old and worn (shower, walls, furniture). The breakfast was really good and the staff was very friendly. The area around the hotel is quite rundown - the neighboring shopping complex is almost completely vacant and there was graffiti on some of the walls.

Clean facilities, super friendly service, nice size rooms, quiet building, convenient part of town, and lovely amenities. Their hot breakfast was especially nice! Unfortunately the pool was under going maintenance while we were there. It was one of the main reasons we picked the place. Still, we would book again!

During my stay, the hotel hosted a party in the hall near the entrance that lasted until midnight on a Friday. I was not informed about this event at check-in. My room was on the first floor close to the hall, so the noise made it impossible to sleep until the party ended. I believe hotels should prioritize guests' rest and enforce quiet hours, which typically begin around 10:00 or 10:30 PM. Allowing loud events to continue late into the night sacrifices guest comfort for profit. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

Absolutely the best. So clean, quiet, and spacious. Love the breakfast. I decided to stay an extra day.

THE TWO EMPLOEES AT THE FRONT DESK WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE YO FEEL WELCOME AND HELP IN ANY WAY THEY COULD. VERY COURTEOUS AND FRIENDLY. ENJOYED MY STAY AND WOULD RETURN AND RECCOMEND TO ANYONE.

Unique; historical architecture. Chauna at the desk. Good coffee and tea selections in lobby. Sink separate from bath area. Comfy bed.

It was very clean. All the staff were very friendly.

It was a great stay. We got an upgrade for the room and were very comfortable. We had 2 children with us and they loved it. They thought it was a castle. The staff were very accommodating

First, we were greeted by a super friendly woman at check-in. We stayed in the "Harry Potter" building. It's a really unique hotel in that the walls are stone so it looks older. The room was clean. We had a microwave, mini fridge, and K-cup coffee maker. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The workout room looked nice. The breakfast was good--waffle and pancake maker, a good oatmeal bar, bagels, toast, eggs, sausage, sausage gravy, biscuits, cereal, grits, fruit, juice, and coffee. The pool wasn't open yet so we didn't get to see it. Not sure but I didn't see a hair dryer in the room so maybe you have to ask for one or bring your own. Internet worked well. Overall a nice stay and just 8-9 minutes from the Richmond Volleyball Center where we were playing a tournament and 2 minutes from 6 free pickleball courts. Lots of places nearby to eat and shop.

The rooms were clean. Only complaint was the first day their was a smell of marijuana in the hallway

My family of four stayed for two nights at the Best Western Plus Governor’s Inn. The Inn reminded us of a mini castle, and our 2 Beds room was big and spacious. The bathroom needs updating, but it served its purpose. The shower head had great water pressure. We were happy with the included breakfast.

Front desk ladies were very pleasant the moment i walked in. Other than room doors being loud and hard to close, my stay was great and would stay there again.

Thid was my end Stay here and Shauna's customer service was great.
