It wasn’t the best and it wasn’t the worst. The customer service could be better. They have early check in…however that doesn’t mean your room will be available. For them it’s just access to the resort, unlike all other resorts I’ve been to you get this when you check in. We were told that our room would be available around 2pm. That was not correct. Went back at check in, 3pm…still wasn’t ready. He said another 10-15 min. Mind you I had been asking him for a status he knows nothing. We got there around 11am. So I asked for a manager, Two come out. One is not not helpful and the other is there and decided to help when I started talking about the bad reviews about the customer service. So I finally get a room equal to what we booked that belongs to someone else who has yet to check in. Now I’m thinking how long that room been available and we could have been in that room. So thank you for finally doing something. We upgraded to a premium which got you better alcohol, laundry, turn down service, etc… We called for turn down, never got it. As a matter of fact, our room never got cleaned…we had to catch housekeeping for towels. The AC unit woke us up every night except Sunday around 3am, they could do nothing because it never made noise when they came. Also, had to call multiple times for someone to come fix our safe. This is our 8th or 9th in Costa Rica, 1st and last time at this resort. Limited food options, very relaxing.
