以前宿泊したときは、改装中で快適とまでは行きませんでしたが、今回は改装がされており、とても快適に過ごすことができました。ただ、最初と通された部屋は、予約と異なるバスタブのない部屋でしたので、すぐにクレームを申し出て、チェンジしてもらいました。すぐに対応してもらいましたが、予約と異なる部屋になっていたのが気になります。

クルーガー国立公園をレンタカーでセルフサファリをするために二泊しました。ホテル立地がゲートのすぐ傍のため、開門時間直前に部屋を出ても早朝サファリを楽しめます。その後いったんホテルに戻り朝食を取るなど自由度の高い滞在ができるためお勧めです。ただディナー会場はオープンエリアのため、時期によっては防寒対策や虫よけ対策をされることをお勧めします。キッチン近くに小さなキャンプファイヤー（たき火？）もあり、食後に『焼きマシュマロ』を楽しまれている方が多くいらっしゃいました。ホテルのサービスとしては至って普通（少しゆっくり目に時間が流れている感じ）でした。初めてのサファリでしたので私たちは十分楽しめました。

全般的には悪くなかったですがサービスでベッドメイキング後夕食中に蛇対策とかで断りなく部屋に入り電気を消す箇所や付ける箇所！カーテンを閉めて出かけたのに半分空いていたり枕かソファ席に置いていたり非常に怖く気持ち悪い思いをしました。 そのようなサービスがあると知らせるべきだと思います。 サービスだとしても知らない文化で不愉快でした。 サファリの予約も事前スケジュールを予約したのにもかかわらず、原則毎度前日に予約するとか？ 他にも前日サファリを予約したにもかかわらず決められた時間前にに集合しても皆見当たらないからフロントに尋ねるとドライバーの都合で1時間早く出発したとか？ 変更の連絡もなくマネージャーも翌日ドライバーとお詫びに来ると言って結局音沙汰なし！ 非常に気分が悪く別のホテルに変えたい気分でした。 受け付けの女性たちだけが英語の下手な私に最後まで話を聞いて謝ってくれました。 アフリカと言う習慣だから仕方ないでは済まされない、不愉快な旅行になりました。

翌日からの国立公園でのセルフドライブに備えて前泊。 オープンスペースが多く取られ、敷地内に散策路や、 サビー川を望むちょっとした展望台もあります。 その後、数倍するプライベートゲームリザーブにも 行きましたが、こだわりの強くない人ならば(予算を抑えたい人は)、 ここでも十分満足できるサービスを提供してくれます。

国立公園内ではないですが、ゲートのすぐそばです。 国立公園内のキャンプは、基本的に食事はついていないので、夕食と朝食を気にせず過ごしたいなら、良いと思います。また、ホテルだけあって、一般的なサービスも受けられるので、そういう方が良い方にはおすすめです。

Amazing location with amazing staff! This was a brilliant place to stay and spend our time. The only item we would have liked to have available to us would have been a dinner option other than the buffet - like an upscale steakhouse or fancy menu ala carte. The buffet was good with many options but would have enjoyed a quieter dinner choice for our family.

We had an incredible stay. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They always smile. It’s very family friendly, but also a great place for couples. We did a private safari and that was so worth it because the guides know all the best places to see the big 5. We would definitely stay there again if we returned to Kruger.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here it was awesome. The staff were super friendly and the dinner was amazing. Breakfast was really good too. The drinks are also great. The staff do a really great job at keeping the property clean and neat. Everything was truly outstanding. We look forward to coming again in the future.

Amazing hotel. We absolutely loved our stay. Room was modern, clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was great but the dinner buffet was simply outstanding. The staff are all so friendly, yet professional. And the pool deck is wonderful. I will definitely stay here again.

Hotel muito bom, equipe muito atenciosa e localização excelente, ao lado do Portão do Kruger. Uma recomendação ao hotel: rever a operacionalização e organização para pagamento das taxas de conservação do Parque Nacional do Kruger, tive um pequeno problema em razão de uma falha na comunicação, mas foi resolvido pelo hotel que se dedicou ao atendimento ao hóspede. De qualquer forma, recomendo muito ficar no Kruger Gate.

O hotel é excelente, possui uma estrutura fantástica, café da manhã e jantar muito bem servidos, com várias opções. Não fizemos game driver com o hotel, porém fizemos sozinhos, o hotel é muito próximo ao portão de acesso, o que facilita bastante. Só elogios e um agradecimento especial ao Lawrence, do café da manhã. Recomendo.

This hotel was superb. The staff, the room, the outstanding food quality, the location (literally right at the Kruger gate), and the ambiance were first-class. We watched elephants and hippos from the pool deck (don’t worry—there is a fence). Highly recommend!
