great location , included parking and breakfast .. friendly staff .. its a very nice hotel !

The shower leaked so there was a puddle of water after shwoer.

A great hotel and we've stayed here several times--mostly for extended stays of 3 to 7 days. All was great BUT we've noticed a bit of "slippage" in maintenance and small but important details. One swivel chair in our room had a broken leg. The pillows on our comfy king size bed were pretty worn and need replacement. Even so we love the Metterra and will likely stay there again later this year.

This hotel is well situated in the heart of Old Strathcona. You are within walking distance of many eclectic little shops, restaurants and a plethora of pubs. The location makes it a very worthwhile consideration as a place to stay when visiting Edmonton. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and much appreciated. The room was a little tired-furniture in need of repair and/or updating as well as baseboards and fixtures that were stained or in need of paint. Definitely in need of a spruce up. The bed was quite comfortable and we always appreciate a nespresso coffee machine rather than a Keurig or equivalent. Simply better coffee. The staff in the breakfast room were friendly and efficient and kept the menu items refreshed and plentiful. Be aware that as you are on Whyte Avenue there is a fair bit of noise at night-particularly on the weekend. Earplugs are provided thank goodness as they were necessary.

We enjoyed our stay at Meterra on Whyte. The air conditioner in our room was not working upon arrival. Staff at first offered to send up a fan (?) but quickly moved us to another room after a second call to the front desk. The breaksfat room was lovely, and food was excellent. Valet parking is a nice touch given its busy street location, however be prepared to call ahead or wait 45 to an hour for your vehicle.

Hello, Listen, everything was great ( room, breakfast, location etc.). The only thumb down is the TV ( not a smart TV). Other than that, I will book again. Cheers!

Loud at night, staff were friendly.

The hotel is excellent with a terrific breakfast and comfortable rooms. The challenge is the noise from the street level. Thoughtfully placed ear plugs are so important and helpful. Love the art in the hotel and the gym.

What a fabulous hotel! Graham was fabulous as well as the rest of the team! Would highly recommend this amazing hotel.

The hotel was overall very good and the staff was friendly. I think it is well located in Edmonton. My only critical comment would be that the hotel's decor and style seems quite outdated and overwhelmingly brown (brown rugs, curtains, etc.), which gives it a dated (late 90s?) vibe, despite being very clean and well organized. The breakfast buffet was very good, and the Nespresso machines in the rooms and in the breakfast lounge were much appreciated.

Very nice property. Parking is an issue but accommodated by parking support attendant.

Parking was the only issue for me but that's to be expected on Whyte Ave

Room was not clean and staff were not helpful when we reported seeing cigarette butts all over the floor in the hotel.

Fantastic, clean, friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were comfy and cozy. The breakfast was fresh, hot and delicious. Free valet was an added appreciated and pleasant bonus. Oh and the valet guy leaves cookies 🍪 in your car! 🙌
