The carpet in the room really needed shampooing and there was a lack of staffing in the restaurant for breakfast causing a lot of disappointment among the guests. Other than that, the stay was very good, the hotel conveniently located for the graduation at UCLA and the staff very friendly. I would recommend the hotel with some caveats.

Really disappointed with our stay. The room had a strange odor and was located directly on the side of the freeway—by 4am it was so loud it felt like we were sleeping on the freeway. We asked to be moved and were told no rooms were available on the quieter side, which didn’t seem accurate. Rooms are very dated and the pillows are basically throw pillows. When we requested more, it took over two hours to get them, and when I offered to go pick them up myself, I was told I couldn’t. Customer service was poor—Dominique at the front desk acted like any request was an inconvenience. We also asked for a late check-out due to the terrible sleep disruption and were told the hotel was “fully booked.” Oddly, I was able to go online and see plenty of rooms available for the same night. They advertise free breakfast but automatically tack on a mandatory gratuity, which feels deceptive. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that are newer, quieter, and better priced. Would absolutely not stay here again.

Staff at reception was not friendly at all

this is not a. 3-4 star hotel. $40/day for mandatory valet is a rip off. valets are rude. rooms are noisy can here the people in room next to me. shower head doesn’t shoot water straight. lighting is uneven. toilet paper holder not installed properly.

Breakfast was good..service was good..at check out they billed me for valet parking but did not specify that i could park on my own and not be FORCED to pay valet..very misleading and waste of money..

Place was very nice, clean, staff was very nice and breakfast is very good and everyone is super friendly and I would recommend it for anyone traveling with family or alone I would stay there again.

Convenient to UCLA campus and Westwood. Very noisy since it is right next to the highway

These people are scam artists. It said free breakfast but they will tell you when your there is actually $5 for the free breakfast. Also when booking it said it was $20 off of Valet parking. Come to find out its only $20 off the entire parking bill not each night. Elevators and valet parking take for ever. To many gotchas at this place and your time is not valued. Last complaint the tub would backup when I wasn't even using it.

For me, this hotel fits perfectly. Going to pick up and see my daughter at UCLA, the location close to the Highway is perfect. The team at the hotel are super, super courteous, helpful and kind. Very engaging in conversation as well, helpful with advice for local information. The rooms are modern and comfortable, with everything you need. The food and views from the 17th Floor Restaurant are fantastic!!! The food is great and the servers are knowledgeable and kind. The comp breakfast was great too...and the omelet chef was amazing to watch, kind and helpful. What can I say, can you love a hotel? I do love this place and I will come here again and again when visiting UCLA.

Convenient location, but the freeway noise was very loud.

Have stayed here several times, but not again after this. We got a room on the Freeway side of the building and it was noisy! The room was run down. The bed side light did not work. The bedside alarm went off at 4:30am! There is no need for a stand alone bedside alarm nowadays. If they removed all these antiques, or have the maid check to make sure they are turned off, that would help.

Prepaid 3 rooms for 3 nights each-all 3 colleagues were asked to pay again when checked in and basket was never delivered to one of the rooms as promised

Had an excellent stay at the Angeleno. All good! Breakfast up on the 17th was very good as well. Thank you. Great Service

If you want a quiet hotel, find a different hotel.
