Always a great stay

Durning my visit, the air conditioner was making a loud noise and I had to shut it off, which made me uncomfortable!!

The staff made the difference here. They are beyond wonderful!

It was my first time staying here. I chose this location because it was conveniently located to meetings I had to have in the area. However, it was a very uncomfortable stay. The dining area was closed most of the time, even during the listed hours. I asked when they'd be open and was told that the person managing it had stepped out - which was an excuse I overheard at different times. Luckily there were options nearby to eat, but after long meetings and traveling I selected this hotel for that reason. Also - there must have been a family reunion happening as there were TONS of children running rampant both on my floor and in the hotel lobby pretty much at all times, with no one on staff asking folks to quiet down. When I'm staying somewhere the expectation is there should be a reasonable ability to relax, and that was not the case at all during my stay. I'm sure much of this is situational, but I just don't think the hotel had proper staffing levels from what I saw, and weren't able to prioritize the needs of all guests. I will definitely be choosing another option the next time I'm in Folsom.

We requested room cleaning services for every other day but only showed up once during our stay. I was charged a parking fee when I was told it would be waived. This stay, amenities, and service was very disappointing. I am unsatisfied and upset with the overall quality of Marriot at this hotel.

People were friendly

When we checked in we first encountered with Rose, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. Then we came back to checking our room was ready we were greeted by a gentleman and he took care of us. We asked to use the bbq and he said yes. We didn’t know we’d need charcoal for the grill, got what we needed and continued with our check in. Everything was great afterwards until we were started getting housekeeping calls early morning. I wouldn’t stay here, again.

No nice protection, no toiletries by the sink

Stayed one night, the place was nice and clean.

Didn't like the service, very loud. Had me stay 2 doors down from a party they were having. Couldn't relax.
