DARTのDonabate駅から2.5kmくらい離れています。駅からは一直線の道のりなので、迷うことはないですが、夜は街灯が少なく暗いです。 ホテルは、Dublin空港からの無料送迎サービスを提供していますが、8:00スタートなので、早朝出発には対応していません。

ダブリンですが空港から送迎バスで30分弱の海岸のホテルで海の家感覚のホテルです。近くには全く何にありません。ただホテルのレストランは意外に本格的で美味しいです。悪い点はホテルのフロントの対応の悪さ、部屋の狭さ、送迎バスのボロさ(笑) でも、空港への送迎バスはありがたかったです。一番良かったのは海岸沿いの景色。8月ですがアイルランドはとても寒くて泳げませんが。

Everything was amazing room, location, food and wonderful staff! Highly recommended!

The hotel is beautifully located on a beach and is within 20 minutes of the Dublin Airport. We were there on Mother's Day which happened to also be a beautiful, sunny day and so the hotel was VERY busy. We arrived a bit early and could not check in so walked the beach and enjoyed the day. We were then sent to our room and arrived to the smell of stale cigarette smoke and the previous guests fingernails on the carpet. There was no phone in the room to call down to the desk, so my travelling companion went down to be informed that there were no other rooms and a manager would be up to address our concerns. After a 40 minute wait, I went down and spoke again to the front desk clerk (she was delightful), who went in search of the manager again and informed me that they would be up in a moment. Waited another 20 minutes and went down again. This time I spoke directly to the manager she had spoken to and was informed a manager had just gone up. I returned to the room to find a manager who listened to our concerns and then offered us another room. It was an upgrade and had a view of the ocean, so we took it. In fairness to the staff, they were being run off their legs due to the high volume of people in the dining room and at the special Mother's Day tea, but the cleanliness of the room was of concern. We had dinner there and it was fine. Not a lot of choice, but again that may have been due to the holiday and not their normal fare. The hotel is in need of a refresh.

Amazing .... not easily forgotten

This place was totally not what we were expecting. It was right on the beach. Views from the balcony are awesome! The place was easy to find, just off M1 and a pretty straight shot from there. The staff (all we met anyway) were great, very accommodating and gave great service with a genuine smile and happy to help attitude. The food was gorgeous, kudos to the cooks. Portions are big so bring an appetite and the drinks taste lovely. I have recommended this place to anyone who will listen. Will definitely need to get back. It's not far from Dublin and many other places so it is accessible for those who want to go in to Dublin or anywhere else.

All great, a little more choice at breakfast ie vegetarian would be great

Die Lage des Hotels ist in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Flughafen und direkt am Strand. Die Burger im Restaurant am Abend waren sehr gut, und auch die warmen Frühstücksgerichte von der Karte haben uns geschmeckt. Leider war das Hotel in Bezug auf Sauberkeit enttäuschend. Die Fensterscheiben waren verschmutzt, auch mit Vogelkot. Brösel auf den Stühlen sowie alte Muscheln unter dem Bett von anderen Gästen machten keinen guten Eindruck. Auch das Badezimmer war nicht besonders sauber. Handtücher hatten Flecken und Löcher und das kaputte Badschloss wurde trotz Meldung an die Rezeption nicht repariert. Im Essensraum war die Bar verstaubt. Der Licht-Shot war beschädigt und der Fernseher funktionierte nicht – er zeigte nur Streifen und gab seltsame, ungesund klingende Geräusche von sich. Das Essen am Buffet wirkte teilweise alt, als ob es schon länger dort gestanden hätte, Leeres wurde nicht wirklich aufgefüllt. Manche Zusätze zu den Cerealien waren während des gesamten Aufenthalts leer. Zudem gab es längere Wartezeiten beim Frühstück, da nur eine Servicekraft im Einsatz war, die sich jedoch sehr bemühte. Die Auswahl am Buffet war insgesamt eher begrenzt. Käse und Wurst standen zur Verfügung, aber Toast gab es nur auf Anfrage oder wenn man ein warmes, deftiges Gericht bestellte. Das Hotel präsentiert sich online als hochwertig, erfüllt jedoch nicht den versprochenen Standard und bleibt insgesamt hinter den Erwartungen.

The most amazing location by the beach. Lots of great walks... Half hour walk into Donabate for trains into Dublin... Staff are absolutely brilliant in the way they look after you.

The breakfast was delicious everyday and the views from the rooms facing the sea were beautiful. The staff was helpful and it was an overall great stay. Would definitely recommend

The room was not available after booking. It seems to be not the first time that this happened, as other comments here experienced similar problems.

Friendly Hotel. Food was excellent. Needs a little bit of TLC here and there. Lovely views but bedroom window needs a good clean. View was fabulous but spoiled by tbe dirty window.

Reported heater not working. Staff came to room to explain it should be on with 15 mins. Had dinner back to room. Still no heating. Extremely disappointing. Desperately needed an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Hooks to hang towels on and a towel dryer.

Disappointed with the room facing out over carpark .. the picture online showed a seaview. Was the whole point of booking this hotel. Staff lovely particularly the girls in the dining room in the evening. Room lovely, comfy bed

Very bad for people who do not have their own car. When i booked I read that they both had transfer from Dublin city centre and airport transfer. When I called to check the day after they didn't have transfer from Dublin city centre and I would have to use public transport (~2 hours) or taxi (~30euro) to get there. They did however say that they could fix the airport transfer for me at my departure. A couple days before my arrival they mailed and asked for request, to which i specified when I needed my airport transfer. And now I recieved answer that airport transfer would not be working on the day I was there but they could call a taxi that I would pay for myself. I did not expect all of this to add 50 euros to my stay and felt very cheated to read so much missleading reasurance that transfer could be fixed prior to the booking. If the transfer you are refering to is just calling a taxi then all hotels have transfer. Not impressed.

Ellie and other staff made the stay exception. Really felt welcomed. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The best I’ve had in Ireland or Scotland. I was initially preparing for not so great food, but the food at this place was beyond great. Plus the service was excellent.

The receptionist was amazing. She was super helpful and all generally all the staff were helpful, but she went the extra mile.
