The front desk receptionist when checking out was very rude. The room was noisy. Kids were running in the room above us until 3 AM. Hotel management was unaware of anything. I will stay in a different hotel next time. Also, breakfast is included for 2 people only, so if you have kids, you will need to choose the 2 people who will get fee breakfast. When reserving, such information was not revealed.

The room was spotless and extremely comfortable. We booked the family room, which overlooked the pool slide — such a fun view for the kids. The location was perfect, right beside Genesis Place and a Tim Hortons, which was so convenient. The hotel was fully booked for the long weekend and filled with families and kids. It was definitely lively and a bit noisy at times, but in a fun, energetic way. Our kids had an amazing time, and we did too. Also, thumbs up to Smitty's restaurant next door for being accommodating as well! We’ll definitely be back!

We love coming here for little staycations with our grandchildren. We usually stay in the 2 bedroom suite which is super comfortable for us 4. Great pool and slide for kids and the facility is super clean always.

We had asked for tidy of our room as we stayed more than one night. This had not happened after being gone for 4 hours. Someone finally showed up at 6pm when we had company. Also they had not much for tv options. No movie channel options.

Canalta is a clean, quiet hotel with a great breakfast at Smitty's.
