Check in was awful. Asked to wait for 10-15 minutes as system “wasn’t working” with no apology or empathy from receptionist. Went to bar to get drink, had to pay as couldn’t charge to a room yet. Went back to reception with a queue of people that were being checked in (by someone else) all fine so took about 25-30 mins in all. Still no apology. Think should have come find me when system working?? Bar was all of 10 yards away!
Got to room, and whilst clean, the carpet was threadbare, the same as it was along corridor to room (3rd floor). Room was also quite dark but think that was a “theme”
Went to restaurant for dinner and staff were excellent and food was really good but was overpriced for what it was. See photo (£26) Warning, again dark theme and menu was extremely difficult to read, even waiting staff struggled!
