This hotel was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall experience felt luxurious and effortless. The staff made everything even better with their attention to detail and great service. Definitely a place I would come back to and highly recommend!

Clean room, attentive staff, great dinner, pool; suggest some black tea available for breakfast eg English Breakfast, ditto Diet tonic at the bar. Otherwise fabulous

I highly recommend this hotel. Is very classy and comfortable. The food at the restaurant is delicious and they have homemade legendary ice cream called rainforest that is worth going there for. They have jackfruit juice and a variety of local dishes that were comparatively priced to local restaurants. The rooms are top notch. We took the iguana tour at the hotel, which was very educational and enlightening.

The property is super clean, well maintained and very quiet. We did not hear anyone from our room. The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and super polite. It was great sitting at the pool at night and having a night cap with a cigar. The location is also very good, with the town at the bottom of the hill. The stay was far nicer than in San Pedro although it cost less.

Comfortable bed, clean room.

Room was beautiful. Request garden or river view. The staff, everyone, including front desk, restaurant/bar staff, housekeeping, and tour guides were excellent. The location cannot be beat. You have the quiet of the jungle with a short walk into town. Be advised that the hill from San Ignacio to the hotel is steep, but each time you climb it, it gets shorter and flatter. We had a great time!

Zero complaints. Our experience was amazing! Do the iguana tour and birdwatching. Our food was great, service was great. Awesome stay.

The staff was always friendly, courteous, responsive, thorough and all without being obsequious. The food in the restaurant was excellent for two separate meals. The room was lovely! Flowers on the bed cover and well appointed in every way. Air conditioner worked very well always. We were really comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at San Ignacio Resort Hotel. The property is a charming boutique hotel with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always going out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The rooms were beautiful, the grounds were peaceful, and the entire experience felt personal and relaxed. Highly recommend for anyone visiting San Ignacio!

It is impossible to put into words how amazing our stay was at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel was… but I’ll try. We were picked up at the airport and driven to the hotel. Our driver was prepared with drinks for our trip and even stopped along the way and purchased some local fruit for us to try. Beautiful property; warm, helpful staff; 10 minute walk to town (big hill). Outstanding location from which to visit Mayan ruins in the area, and access restaurants in town. Lovely pool, good restaurant, great birds and iguanas on site!
