We visited the Aethos Sardinia for our Honeymoon and could not have had a better experience. The grounds, the room, the staff, and the amenities were all incredibly top notch and blew us away. We truly felt like we were transported into a small little Sardinia village, with the touches and care of a luxury resort. We greatly appreciated the attention to detail and spacious layout of the room that made us feel comfortable and right at home. We also loved the hotel breakfast buffet and the variety of menu options to choose from. The hotel is also conveniently located in a super central area to Porto Cervo/Costa Smeralda and made it incredibly easy to get around -- no where was more than a 15-25 minute drive. We also loved that we could walk right into the center of Cannigione at night for any dinners, gelato, or shopping. We absolutely will be returning!

Our stay was okay, but honestly we expected more from a hotel in this category. On the positive side, we really appreciated the honeymoon champagne, and the front desk staff, transfer team, and valets were all helpful and polite throughout our stay. The room itself and the hotel's infrastructure are excellent. However, the overall service didn't match the standard of other 4- and 5-star hotels we've stayed at, particularly housekeeping. On one occasion, staff walked into our room while we were still inside, despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign being on the door. On another day, the room simply wasn't cleaned, and when we called to report it, it took a long time for someone to come. Housekeeping was also inconsistent overall — sometimes the water bottles were replaced, sometimes not — and whenever we requested water, it took a long time to arrive. The Wi-Fi was unreliable throughout our stay as well. Overall, guest support fell short of what we expected. This isn't a hotel where we felt genuinely well taken care of, which is disappointing given the price point and category.

Great experience

It is a nice hotel which is set up on a hillside which gives it a unique character and lovely views. The main pool felt a little cramped but was nice, the infinity pool was very relaxing but lacked a bar (it had one but they didn't open it) which made it less appealing to use. The sea deck was nice but you had to head across one road and up another back into the resort to use the toilets. The rooms look like they do in the pictures, but bathrooms were a little disappointing. They are rather small and the shower had no lights so was always dark. We were on a budget so went for the cheapest rooms, but the sea view looked amazing from the next room type up...so I would definitely suggest those, just ensure you are as high up the hillside as possible for maximum viewing. British here so I was a little surprised there was not tea making facilities but the lovely bar staff were only too happy to give me a pot at night. I guess the biggest issue I had was that I thought I was splurging on price compared to what I usually spend...as it was for my 40th, but for the price (and we got a bargain by comparison to their listed prices in summer) it did not feel all that special. It was nice and I had a lovely time, I just thought I was going to be a bougie so and so for the weekend pretending I had a yacht and it just didn't quite bring that extra bit of finesse I was hoping for. Nice place if you have the pennies to spend.

My husband and I had an amazing stay at Aethos Sardinia. The property is absolutely beautiful, with great amenities and breathtaking view. The food was also excellent; both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with great variety. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We loved every moment of our time here and would highly recommend Aethos Sardinia to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway. We can't wait to return!

Amazing views and food and the vast majority of staff were very helpful and friendly. Service not consistent enough for 5 star rating. Room mostly spotless, but balcony not swept and some glassware not cleaned effectively.

Truly a once in a lifetime experience! We came all the way from the U.S. and loved every bit of our stay here. From the location to the staff, everything was excellent! You are located in Cannigione, so it’s very walkable. You can walk to the beach, grocery store, little shops, and tons of restaurants. The service is 5 stars. They clean your room daily, they are very respectful and treat you like royalty. Overall we hope to come back in the next few years with our kids!

Aethos Sardinia is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are impeccably maintained, with stunning views throughout the property that make it feel like a true escape. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The only downside to our stay was the food and beverage offering. While it’s understandable to pay a premium for convenience, the menu was quite limited and the pricing felt unreasonably high for what was offered. Although it’s possible to walk into town for meals, we found the nearby options to be fairly mediocre. We had much better dining experiences by driving about 10 minutes outside the area. Overall, Aethos offers a beautiful setting and a relaxing atmosphere, and I would consider staying again—just with a different plan for meals.
