They ask me what i wanna eat for breakfast , and then they cook my breakfast.

Small, quaint, quiet, great location!

We had the room on the top floor. It was a nice sized room, with a very comfortable queen size bed. It had a window air conditioner which cooled the room to an adequate temperature but still a little warm. The bathroom is tiny with the shower on the opposite side of the room, which worked well. There was a large kitchen area on the main floor and the addition of a water cooler was great. Overall, it was clean snd comfortable and worked well for what we needed.

This property is in an excellent location, easily walkable to the harbour and all the restaurants and bars of Water and George Street, and even walkable if you’re more ambitious, to the hike from Battery neighborhood up to Signal Hill and of course to the Rooms. The room itself was quite small and a bit dated, but if your intention is just to sleep there, it did the trick.

Property is a little tired. Bathroom is very small. I’m not a fan of shared kitchen.

Very convenient and quiet. Older home so could use some updates. Very limited amenities.

Very cozy place, close to everything

At the price charged I could book quickly. It was quiet and warm, stairs involved. A spacious room, comfortable bed.

I really enjoyed my stay at Gower Guest House! Very quiet, but it was April! The attendant cleaner always took away the dirty dishes! Nice. One thing was that the kitchen, which I used, had no sink to rinse things or get water, and the available water bottle ran empty on the last day. There wasn't many breakfast options, but I brought quick oats and prepared them in the microwave. Nice place!

It was so quiet and restful the time I stayed there

The Gower Guest House perfectly matched our needs and fully met our expectations. The rooms were extremely comfortable, and the location was both quiet and central. The hosts were exceptionally accommodating. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone visiting St. John's.

Excellent location - part of jelly bean houses. Good for the price. With some interior refreshment It would be more attractive.

Stay away! The toilet didn’t flush properly, the only chair in the room was broken, the window screens were broken, the carpet was stained and stinky, and the bed was unsleepable…felt like sleeping on a marshmallow. And there is a general odour of mould, mildew and rot. It’s a dive!

For seniors trying to carry their luggage up 3 flights of stairs is very inconvenient Rooms very small

Quiet, comfortable, convenient and safe. We enjoyed our stay!
