The shower did not work in the room.

had an amazing time the view was great!! enjoyed being able to spend time at the pools swim up bar and be seconds away from the beach.

Horrible place to stay, rooms are dirty, stink and they need to be gutted out and redone. The pool is the onlly area that is nice.

Needs a little updating. The elevator is super slow. Outdoor pool and bar is great. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Overall, we had a very nice time!

We just got married and wanted to extend our honeymoon by one more day, and we found an amazing room available at the DoubleTree on Expedia...or so we thought. To start, we did not get the room we booked on Expedia (1 king, corner balcony). We were told that the room we reserved was "flooded by the guest in there the night before". The front desk offered us another room, which was significantly cheaper and when we brought this to their attention they said "well, that's what happens when you book through a 3rd party" and then tossed us some complementary cookies we would have gotten anyways. Upon entering the room, the carpet was ripped up and the bathroom was not clean. I reached out to Expedia about the issue and they said they could cancel our booking and a refund would be at the discretion of the hotel management. We didn't want to have to fight as we were tired and just wanted to rest so we chocked it up to lesson learned. Only 1 elevator was in operation and according to other guests, that's been the situation for years. Finally, about 45 minutes before checkout, someone came knocking on our door asking if we were checking out. I have never had that happen at a hotel before and we felt very rushed to get out (nevermind that it was POURING rain outside so all of our stuff got wet because we were just trying to get out of there). Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay other than here - I wish we had.

The bathroom was not cleaned well

I like that the pool was 4ft all around that there was not a deep part.

If you decide to come to this location. Dont let the picture fool you like it did me, its not, backyard on the sand! Theres a main street that separate it from the beach and a massive drop with very large stairs to carry stuff down or a little bit of a walk to a big hill to go down. The only reseaon I booked it was because i thought it was sand access but its not. And in the hallway there is a very bad odor and it over powers everything, maybe some bleach!

Room was spacious and clean. Staff courteous and friendly.

A good hotel for a shorter stay. Went for a work travel so it was reasonably priced. Could use an update, rooms were clean, but no wow effect (plus of having a fridge in the room), and better breakfast service (bar service in the evening was good)
