Classic hotel in old town. Great location adjacent to the palace in Gamla Stan with shopping and many places to eat. The area gets crowded when the cruise ships dock but quiets down nicely after the cruisers head back to the ship.
The breakfast is top notch.
Our complaint was the hotel advertised the room was air conditioned. It "was", but we were told at check in the air conditioner was broken and not fixable during our stay. We got to our room and the temperature was nearly 90 degrees. We stayed one of the three nights on our reservation. That said, even though we prepaid in a "non cancellable" room the hotel staff was very understanding. They allowed us to cancel and fully refunded our money for the two unused nights. Very professional and much appreciated.
