Great dinner and breakfast at hotel

I booked one night to attend my nephew's wedding reception. Plus: Impressive grounds, nice staff, outdoor dining at a reasonable price. Minus: Parking for the hotel can be a distance from the entrance. Pool closed in the middle of July for repairs?! Complementary breakfast was a croissant or bagel and juice or coffee served in the front lobby, Only small drink napkins, no full sized napkins or paper plates. A Hampton has a better offering for half the room cost. For a premier destination I would have expected much more.

My stay was amazing

Place is beautiful, staff exceptional. Room very damp, needs dehumidifier. Buffet breakfast fresh ingredients, same each day, but enough variety you can change it up each day.

The front desk team was very friendly, accommodating and answered all my questions.

I was so very disappointed that the pool was out of order. I was planning to have my grandkids swim with me. Also, I didn’t see the $$$ property fee when I picked this hotel on Expedia. That should definitely have been in the Expedia booking info.

Well. So far,so good. Just got here. Having dinner. Very nice restaurant. Check in was smooth. Everyone is very nice.

Great place for a wedding . Highly recommend

This is our third year staying at the Normandy hotel. My mother was having surgery, and due to unexpected expenses, I booked our stay with Expedia for 5 nights. Upon arrival, we checked in with front desk staff Alex. From the beginning of our interaction, he was impatient, quick-talking, and rude. We had a problem with our room, I booked a suite for my family of 3 and the room had one king-size bed. I spoke to Alex, at the front desk again and he said because I booked with Expedia, there was nothing he could do or will do. I was in disbelief, we spent 1,500.00 to stay at the Normandy Hotel and this is the treatment we get! Alex, in my opinion, is a bad front desk person. I asked to speak with a manager and was told that no managers were available. Before long I got a call from Sylvia, she is one of the front desk staff that helped facilitate us getting another room with two beds. She listened to my concerns and offered a solution. I am so thankful for her hospitality. I wish I could say that our stay was pleasant, Again we had an interaction with him, my husband called the desk to ask about the wifi, and Alex, told him because we booked through a 3rd party we don’t have it. Then yesterday I called Normandy Hotel to ask about a $53 charge and sure enough I got Alex, he said the charge was for WiFi! and other things. I felt because I booked my stay through Expedia, I was treated differently and made to feel less than by Alex.

I love the atmosphere of the party very convenient to everything.

We loved the clean, simple design of the room. Great air quality and comfortable king-sized bed. Good complimentary breakfast.

The staff was super friendly and made us feel very welcome and our stay special. Dinner at the Farmer’s Daughter was good and service was excellent.

Bed sagged In one side. All the pillows were the same and sucked. Thermostat broken and I woke up at 80 degrees twice (in February). I slept terribly. Staff under trained. Restaurant entrees were not good and certainly not worth the price.
