We stayed in the terrible hotel for 3 nights. it was nightmare. Our room was Double premier room - not cheep but it was very noisy as the upstairs is restaurant. You have to stand the clatter noise of chairs from 6am to 10pm. it was ludicrous ! The hotel is located far from the central so you have to get a taxi for dinner.

Before we even arrived the staff helped to organise flowers, fruit, and sweets in our room as a surprise for my wife. Accompanied by both a personal message from myself and another from the hotel. The room is immaculate. Lovely towels refreshed twice a day, the breakfast and evening food is both diverse and delicious. We arrived during a rail strike, however the staff helped us to plan our journeys. Keeping us informed of the disruption and the best ways to get around the area. Every member of staff has been so kind and courteous to us. The location of the hotel is central to all amenities. 10-15 min from the centre, train station, and the port. Making it simple to get around Italy while still remaining quiet and serene. We would definitely want to return and strongly recommend people choose to stay here when visiting Sorrento.

Lovely reception area and beach club. we had a 3rd floor suite. Not a huge suite but perfectly adequate. Nice balcony overlooking the sea. Very good and attentive breakfast service. Very friendly and helpful staff. A 10-15 minute walk into town but that suited us as we enjoy walking.

This is the kind of hotel you note for future stays. The friendly service is from everyone here, and all seem happy to work here. The concierges gave great recommendations and never hesitated on any request. We will plan to be back!

Beautiful property and great service. Classic, elegant, 5 star rather than modern or boutique style. Views are incredible. Easy walk to town center. Beach club was awesome.

Spent our first part of our honeymoon here. Everything was A+. Only 10/15 min walk into town. The beach area was perfect. The room was cleaned everytime we got back to the room. Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful place

Beautiful property, a very classy place. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the staff are excellent. Dinner in the restaurant was fantastic - the only caution is I would avoid eating overlooking the sea at the beach bar - the food is basic, tiny portions and completely overpriced, which is the opposite of the other, lovely restaurant upstairs.

Exceptional in every way! - The most beautiful, opulent, historic, grand hotel. The view of Mt Vesuvius and Capri were the most beautiful backdrop to an elegant and super dining room. A wonderful extensive choice of breakfast and a delicious menu for the evening. All staff, especially Max on reception, were so courteous and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, they all made you feel very special. We loved everything about this hotel and would totally recommend to anyone. We were so excited to come to Sorrento and this hotel really made the stay everything we dreamed of. Amazing location - Amazing view and property and the rooms are stunning. Short walk to piazza tasso, the center of Sorrento- less than 10mins walking. Would return!
