We stayed in the terrible hotel for 3 nights. it was nightmare. Our room was Double premier room - not cheep but it was very noisy as the upstairs is restaurant. You have to stand the clatter noise of chairs from 6am to 10pm. it was ludicrous ! The hotel is located far from the central so you have to get a taxi for dinner.

Exceptional in every way! - The most beautiful, opulent, historic, grand hotel. The view of Mt Vesuvius and Capri were the most beautiful backdrop to an elegant and super dining room. A wonderful extensive choice of breakfast and a delicious menu for the evening. All staff, especially Max on reception, were so courteous and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, they all made you feel very special. We loved everything about this hotel and would totally recommend to anyone. We were so excited to come to Sorrento and this hotel really made the stay everything we dreamed of. Amazing location - Amazing view and property and the rooms are stunning. Short walk to piazza tasso, the center of Sorrento- less than 10mins walking. Would return!

Was a lovely hotel . Only issue I had was I thought I booked a room with a bath and didn’t get one . To use spa for 40 min was 100 euro so was a bit much I thought ….otherwise everything was awesome ☺️

This was my second time staying at this hotel in the last 5 years. It was one of our favorite hotels in all of our Ital travels. Everything is top notch, great staff. We loved Max and Luigi at the front desk. They were a memorable part of our trip because of their welcoming attitude and hospitality.

This is a charming, very well located and very well maintained hotel. The staff is attentive and friendly. It's a luxurious calming experience enhanced by the natural beauty of the surroundings, which are well taken advantage of by the layout of this hotel. Very highly recommend for an idyllic stay on the Amalfi coast.

The hotel is a short walk to downtown Sorrento before enjoying all the shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is very clean, attentive staff, and the amenities are very good. Enjoy the beach deck down below with a full bar and light food or the restaurant with great views. The complimentary breakfast is very good as well. I’d recommend this place to anyone and will stay there again in the future.

Hotel was incredible, everyone was friendly and helpful, views incredible. Very expensive hotel but everything was incredible.

The Staff and property was magnificent.

Second time in this hotel, please note they don't have suites. Take the junior suite instead. Otherwise this hotel is great.

Very friendly staff and beautiful hotel

The staff….especially Giovanni (supervisor for the restaurant) were amazing in every way. We look forward to a return visit to the Ambasciatori!

Excellent hotel overall, we had a great time. Very quiet and very clean. Room was perfect size and very clean. Could hear the rumbling of the elevator from the room, but muffled enough to not impact sleep. Otherwise very quiet. Breakfast had the usual options, very good quality. Sea / jetty area was clean and the sun loungers were comfortable. The staff at reception was extremely helpful with recommendations and sorting things out. Staff by the jetty not so much, helpful when asked but won’t come by at any point to ask if you need anything or collect stuff. Location is stunning and overall the hotel is amazing. Mainly families and couples staying, but it felt very quiet even mid August.
