A gorgeous stay! The staff were excellent and the place was immaculate. Will definitely be coming again! Would be great if they could send a welcome email earlier on and have a post-stay email too 😊 Thanks for a great stay!

No one knows anything there. Ask any question and they say, yes or I don’t know. They don’t know how to explain. Towels are cleaned 2 x a week, and beach they said just go out and turn left then right and down. If you saw what was outside?!!!…. Construction, workers and no roads or signs. Finally after 40 minutes of walking we found the correct path and then its a huge walk DOWN THE HOTEL was more like a Bali decor not on a Greek island decor. People from Nepal were workers who don’t know the island at all. Kind people, but not knowledgeable to guide a tourist. ZERO RANK AND THE ROOM WAS dark! 2 lightbulbs not working and too much work to ask

Our family had a great experience for 7 nights at Avithos resort. super close to the airport (9 minute), excellent location! Room has a fully furnished kitchen and a welcoming balcony! pool area is super well maintained and has enough chairs for all guests! Food is amazing and super tasty (until 9 pm only). Beautiful views and sunsets! kristina helped us reserve a private boat to Zakynthos and is super knowledgeable! Hotel is close to two beaches, small markets, 15 min to a bigger grocery store!! Absolutely recommend it!!!

We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad! We kregen een gratis upgrade van de kamer en hadden een heel fijn appartement inclusief grote tuin. We werden vriendelijk geholpen bij de receptie en het verblijf is heel erg schoon en ligt er goed verzorgd bij. Mocht ik teruggaan naar Kefalonia, zou ik zeker weer hier boeken!

Everything about this hotel is amazing — food, environment, service, pool, and location. The only thing it is missing is a view and the lighting inside the rooms were a bit dark. The location is authentic Greek — surrounded by farms and small towns, with easy access to beaches.

Avithos resort looks as good as the photos. Chose this resort because of the kitchenette so that I could make food in the apartment and it didn’t disappoint. The kitchen has everything you need, except they don’t provide washing up liquid and sponge. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony for dinner or a drink. The local tavernas do takeaway food if you don’t feel like cooking but want to eat at the apartment. The swimming pool area is lovely and relaxing, no fight for sunbeds and plenty of sunny spots. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is fairly rural and there is no centre to walk around in the evenings - just pitch black lanes, but there are restaurants nearby so plenty of places to eat. The nearby beach at Ai Helis is beautiful and only a 15 minute walk. Would recommend a car if staying for more than a couple of days.

This is the second time I have been to Avithos resort. It is a quiet, spotless and friendly space in beautiful gardens. The pool is wonderful, surrounded by plenty of sun loungers . There is a small children’s pool too Breakfast was delicious, with many Greek options to choose from. Really sets you up for the day. The food at the bar is nice too, for a snack or convenient meal. However, there are beautiful local tavernas nearby. We especially enjoyed Espirides, and the lower restaurant at the beach Svoronata is a quiet somewhat isolated area, but transport is not a problem if you have not hired a car. There is a regular bus service to Argostoli , Avithos runs an efficient and regular transport service to the beach and in the local area Taxis can be booked easily, as can local tours of the island and boat trips Our room was spacious, well appointed, and clean. I was disappointed that tea and coffee are not provided daily only on arrival. Even the most beautiful setting can be spoilt if staff are inattentive or unprofessional This is certainly not to be said for Avithos. The staff made the stay even more special. I would especially like to mention the young people behind the bar, and in reception. They were all helpful , friendly, happy , and very professional. I would certainly go back to Avithos resort again. A special place on a the very special island of Cephalonia

Wonderful place to stay and great service from all the staff.

The design of the hotel is nice, rooms are spacious and well designed. The service is not so great. Staff were rude, specially front desk, they never say hello Or goodbye whenever you walk by it, they didn't try to Help , they didn't give us any hint/recommendations about the island. They are just there and useless. The pool food menu is also very week, they should have fingers food; tzaziki, veggies, mezze…even tacos instead of burgers and pasta… overall the hotel is good because.. other than the staff inexperience in Hospitality, rooms and facilities are great

Reception staff friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and good size. Pool bar was a little expensive and service a bit slow but good food and drink quality and selection.

Het verblijf zelf en de accommodatie was prima. WiFi werkte helaas in onze kamer meerendeel niet dan wel en de keuken had soms zijn eigen tijden in plaats van de aangegeven tijden.

Ontbijt was goed en netjes verzorgd, kamer wordt ook netjes opgeruimd, personeel was vriendelijk, zwembad met ligbedden was goed, gratis parkeren ook goed. Minpunten zijn: WiFi werkte niet/nauwelijks, airconditioning werkte ook niet optimaal (zeker met de hittegolf was het moeilijk om uit te houden), toiletpapier kun je niet in toilet gooien maar dat geldt bijna voor alle hotels (vind het toch minder fris). Al met al was het een relatief duur verblijf.

The Avithos Resort is perfect for a relaxing break. I cannot fault anything- the staff are helpful and friendly; the accommodation is modern and clean and the pool and grounds are wonderfully kept. There is a supermarket approx. 10 min walk away, Esperides restaurant close by and the beach and 2 tavernas around a 15-20 min walk away. We will be back again for sure!

The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the place looks immaculate. Beds very comfortable and the room well equipped and stylish.
