よいホテルだか ちょっと設備が古いね

ガンジス川から少し離れていますが、ホテル自体は快適そのもの。バラナシの喧騒が嘘のようです。

ブッダガヤには高級ホテルはない為、最低限の設備、衛生環境等を維持したい人にはお勧めのホテル。観光スポットには徒歩圏内と便利。食事も日本人料理人がおり、地元の材料を使った日本食が食べられる。

部屋は広いけどクオリティは低い、ホテルというかゲストハウス。清潔だけど、うーんいまいち。朝食も薄暗くてあまり気持ちの良い朝食とはならない。もう少し安ければ構わないが、値段には合わない。

豪華な装飾のエントランス、スタッフはトレーニングされており、部屋も清潔で、レストランは2店ともおいしい。確かに、いいホテルだけど、値段ほどの価値はないような…。ガンジス川が見たいのなら、遠いし。そもそも高い。「この値段でこの部屋かー。ふーん。え、wifi有料なの？！空港送迎、高ぁい。朝ごはんも有料？！えーっ高くつくなぁー」というのが正直なところ。プランにもよるとは思うけど。

バラナシの街は、まるで近代化から取り残されたかのような人と牛と野良犬と埃と糞尿の混在するところでしたが、このホテルは現代に存在するものらしくて安心できました。ただその別世界感を感じられる分、レストランもWi-Fi接続料も日本並みに馬鹿高く、気を付けないと高額をしはらうことになります。 Tajiホテル系列で、ロビーのゴージャス感も上品です。宿泊客は欧米人が多いと思いました。

I stayed there for one night to explore around ganges river. this hotel is very big with nice swimming pool, tennis court and the garden. there is a distance from the front gate and the hotel so feel safe and protected. Indide the room also smells nice and cozy. we arranged the ganges tour from the hotel and they arrange the good driver, good tour as well. makes us easy to do sight seeing as out side of the hotel is chaotic. food in the hotel was also very good. highly recommend

全般的にそこそこ、というレベルのホテル。過度に期待しなければ問題なし、インドにおいては満足できるレベルだと思います。インドの他の観光地の同レベルのホテルと比較するとサービス面で若干見劣りする感はあります。

とても気持ちの良いホテルでした。 広い庭の手入れがよく行き届いていて、 庭師の人もフレンドリーで良かった。 近くのショッピングセンターがしょぼくて、驚きましたが、ホテルのせいではありません。 前日は婚約式とかで、セレモニーをしていました。 庭でのセレモニーは楽しそうでした。 次の日がホーリーで、私たちは危ないと言われているベナレスからデリーへ移ったのですが、 庭ではホーリーの準備をしていて、イベントを予定しているようでした。

街中のガヤガヤした雰囲気とは一線を画すホテルに宿泊したいのであればとてもおすすめできます。私は大みそかに宿泊したのでパーティーがあり、普段とは異なった雰囲気だったと思いますが、ガンガー周辺で疲れていた我々はホテルに入って癒されました。

部屋もバスタブもとてもきれいで、満足でした。 レストランの食事もおいしいです。 ただし、僻地にあります。 どこに行くのにも要タクシーです・・・

I staied in India from 13 APR to 23 2011. I used several hotels in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Varanasi. The Gateway Hotel Ganges is surely the best of them from the viewpoint of Quality,Services, Environments, Equipments, Foods. For travellers, aircondition is very importnat for good sleep, the room was compeletely confortable for me, just staying my house in Tokyo. Quality of bed is nice, not too soft, not to hard. Employees in the hotel are highly educated, I could enjoy talking a lot. During 11 days of my stay, I sometimes came to take some good quality food that I could not eat in local restaurants, this hotel gave that to me. I orderd spaghetti, it was served in 10 minutes with really really hot, of course the taste was quite nice, just like that of Tokyo. I believe The Gateway Hotel Ganges is one of the best hotel not only in India but in the world. You will get to know what I told you when you stay in this hotel. I am proud of my stay in it .

Breakfast buffet is outstanding. Coffee machines need to be looked into - replaced. On the last day, I had a decent cappuccino. Dinner and lunch buffets are great as well, made more enjoyable due to people like Muskan, Abhilash, Deepak Shivam etc. In the other restaurant Varun, except for one person, Madhina, others don’t seem to smile at all. Need to learn to smile and be hospitable. Concierge position is stressful and it is in this hotel. Akansha did a decent job on the only day she was there. The other lady Nishita looked stressed. Handling Two cell phones and a landline is not easy. You need to have two people at that desk. One to coordinate with drivers and another to handle reservations and customers. Manish should be there.
