Es gibt erstaunlicherweise keine Steckdosen am Bett. Wie in einem Hotel aus den achtziger Jahren. Zusätzlich lässt sich das Zimmerlicht ausgesprochen schlecht steuern.

Luxury at its finest and most historic.

I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. While the pool water was a bit cold, the size was perfect for a relaxing swim—especially when it wasn’t too crowded. The breakfast itself was just okay, but the attentive and friendly staff made the experience much more enjoyable. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant a couple of nights, and unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. That said, the service was absolutely fantastic. Since my stay was a full week, I truly appreciated how safe and comfortable I felt throughout. As an introvert, I tend to keep to myself, coming and going quietly, and this hotel made that easy. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom layout suited me perfectly. One thing for them to improve at the front desk. It would have been nice if they made some suggestions on what to do in the evening. Especially there was a couple of classical music concert I could have gone to beings how the venue was right in front of the hotel. Overall, it was a great stay, and I’d be happy to return, especially for their swimming pool.

Das Hotel de Rome gehört ohne Zweifel zu den Top 3 Luxus Hotels in Berlin. Hier stimmt einfach alles !! Top professionelles und freundliches Personal.Architektonisch wurde der ehemalige Sitz der Dresdner Bank mit viel Know How und Stil in ein Hotel "umgewandelt" ohne jedoch den Charm dieses historichen Gebãudes zuverlieren. Eines von sehr wenigen Hotels die dadurch eine eigene Persönlichkeit haben. Respekt dafür. Wer sich hier nicht wohl fühlt, dem ist nicht mehr zu helfen ;-)

Ein sehr schönes Hotel in bester Lage mit sehr freundlichem Personal.

Hotel and staff are perfect. Location - excellent (in December - best Christmas market just outside). Food too (pasta with tomato sauce is great). 5/5 plus. The only challenge I had was with the reservation team - a very inflexible guy who also gave me some wrong information. It was a 1/5 experience, I have never had such case in a hotel of this category. But the rest was so good that it would be unfair to give it less than 5 stars.

Das Hotel ist wirklich was ganz besonderes und hat uns, bis auf das Einchecken, sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Frühstück wunderbar und vielfältig. Das Zimmer und das Bad war sehr geschmackvoll und wirklich sauber. Auch wenn wir nicht wie gehofft auf den Weihnachtsmarkt schauten, sondern auf eine Baustelle. Wir ein Zimmer mit Stadtblick gebucht. Doch leider gibt es etwas was uns nicht gefallen hat. Ich hatte einen Tag vor der Anreise im Hotel angerufen, um zu erfragen, ob man (auch gegen Aufpreis) schon um 13 Uhr einchecken kann. Die Dame am Telefon meinte, dass es gar kein Problem ist, da das Hotel nicht voll belegt ist. So sind wir gg. 13:15 Uhr im Hotel angekommen und mussten noch 1,5 Stunden in der Lobby warten, bis wir eingecheckt wurden. Das war sehr unschön! Man hatte auch das Gefühl, Gast 2. oder so gar 3. Klasse zu sein. Ich muss aber sagen, dass es nur bei der Rezeption so war. Das ganze andere Personal war mehr als freundlich. Schade, denn gerade der erste Kontakt ist für das Wohlfühlen so wichtig.

The property is a 5 star for a reason. Every luxury felt, from the comfort of the room to the spread of the breakfast buffet. Loved this hotel, I would definitely stay again.

The facility was kept very clean. The location was great and within walking distance to many historical sites.
