Breakfast was excellent

日本の先輩方の評価が厳しめなのか朝食時、スタッフ間でジャパニーズと警戒？されていた（苦笑）シービューの部屋を予約したがちゃんと目の前に海が見えて良かった。なにしろ船着場が目の前なのでカプリ島など島へ行くには最高の立地だと思う。部屋もそれなりに広く清潔で快適だった。

カプリ島からフェリーで到着した港に面したホテル、部屋からヴェスビオス火山が見えました。バスルームの換気扇の音が大きいので夜中に使う時に気になりました。 朝食はコンチネンタル、ヨーグルトが美味しかったです。

駐車場がすぐそばになく、ホテルの前で荷物を下ろしたが、レセプションに運ぶのが大変。駐車場へはホテルと契約した人が駐車場まで車をもって行ってくれた。しかし朝早く出発したくても7：30前はホテルまで持ってきてくれないので、その点は不便。雨の為カプリには行かなかったが、もし行けたら、船のスケジュールは変更せざるを得なかった。。

当日、アップグレードに50ユーロ。 もし最初から海側の部屋を希望するならネット予約するべきです。 値段が全然違います。 勿論、景色も違います。 ホテルのリストランテはちょっと高め。

部屋の明かりが1つしか機能せず、洗面所にあかりがない。洗面所も極端に狭く、清潔とは言えない。シャワーも極端に狭く、髪を洗うときは、扉を開けて洗髪しなければならないほどの狭さ、電気のプラグもほとんど壊れていて、１つしか使えない。海に面した窓の景色は素晴らしいがその他はひどく、狭いが値段だけはとても高い。もう二度と泊まりたくないです。

I was skeptical when we arrived because it seemed like a cute but simple stay compared to what I usually get. But the rooms were very clean, the breakfast was good and the staff went above and beyond to help us. They were very patient and considerate. Even after we checked out they helped us.

El hotel queda frente al muelle. Muy bonito, la habitación miy confortable. Habitaci on vista al mar. El skybar es genial. El desayuno es muy bueno. Si se llega en tren lo mejor es bajar en el ascensor.

Room and hotel in general very clean and tidy, breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. Location was ideal as we arrived via the port, and the hotel is right next to it. A bit of a trek up the cliffs into Sorrento centre but no big deal if mobile. Taxis also readily available at the port.

Went to the wrong Il Faro first which was a disaster that took a £30 taxi ride to fix. Not even a real entry, but google thinks it is. And watch out. It’s on the port which is at the bottom of the cliff below the town. Lovely location and there is a lift to the top of the cliff.

Place was great. I would stay again!
