There was black mold in our room. The air conditioner drained on the carpet in the room.

Bed not comfortable compared to other comfort Inns, chipped paint, dirty worn carpet in hallways. Tile floor in bathroom felt tacky and had hairs on the floor saw a live bug on the carpet when first got in the room

clean and quiet room, bed was comfortable, we got a good night sleep and breakfast was good

Noticed the room was musty upon arrival and didnt notcie there was bed bugs until we went to bed and there was several of them and tryed for refund and hotel was not all willing to help with that!!!!! STAY AWAY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

The room was extremely humid during the stay, to the point where the room and bathroom doors were sticking. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was above average.

I reserved an assessable room the toilet as a short stool not high and there was no side bar to help. the tub did not have enough bars to take a shower safely for a mobile challenged person. The beds were comfortable and the room clean. The coffee maker in the breakfast are was not working properly . I will stay in a different hotel when I visit Grinnell.

This was well maintained. The staff for breakfast and the breakfast was great. They were very helpful. The food was good and plenty to choose from. The front desk staff was helpful with giving dinner options in the area. I would stay there again.

The temperature inside my room was 63 degrees, I had to turn up the temp to 78, it took hours to feel comfortable. I did not like the bedspread it did not keep me warm, The pillows was not poofy, very flat. I am on bloodthinners so I get cold easily. I had no idea how to fix the shower faucet in the bathroom, I tried to fix the faucet so I could take a shower was unsuccessful so instead took a sponge bath kneeling in the tub. The toilet was not flushing very well. I did report to management about me not being able to use the shower and the toilet not flushing very well. The so called complimentary breakfast sucked, no bacon or sausage, only 1 flavor of yogurt, no fresh fruit, a plain doughnut, not frosted, very dull. If I would have known that the breakfast was this horrible I would have gone to a restaurant for a decent breakfast. I should have stayed at a Super 8 or another motel at least I would have been warmer and able to take a shower and have a better breakfast.

Checked into this hotel, went to the room and right away had to come back down and ask for a new room based on how dirty it was. The front counter person gave us a new room and it was just as bad. The bathtub had a wet dirty cleaning rag in it, it looked like it had not been finished cleaning. Went down again and asked for a new room, this time front counter said they’re are no other rooms available. When I pointed out that there were no cars in the parking lot, his response was that none of their other rooms were clean! What in the world. Horrible experience at this place.

The staff was very friendly and helpful about Grinnell. The vinyl flooring in room 110 had been patched and the chair showed signs of age. The breakfast had plenty of choices and the person in charge had it clean. Overall a very nice stay and I would stay there again.

Convenient

It was a nice place to stay after a long day on the road. It is quiet and clean, and the hot tub really felt great.

Our Expedia reservation did not get through correctly, but the staff was so wonderful and accommodated our needs. Staff was always friendly and greeted us in the morning. Loved this hotel. Want to go back again
