ランカスター大学での調査目的だったので、キャンパスに隣接したこのホテルを選びました。ランカスターの駅から遠いので夜中に着いたらタクシーで行くしかないかと思っていましたが、大学行きのバスはたくさん出ていたのでバスで行きました。ただ駅からバス停までは、グーグルマップを頼りに雨の中を歩かなければなりませんでしたが。大学キャンパスのバス停から、ちょっと見つけにくかったですが、それほど離れているわけではありません。到着してからホテルで夕食を食べるつもりでしたが、ホテルのレストランが９時までと閉まるのが早くギリギリでした。価格の割にはグレードの高いホテルで、部屋は綺麗で広く、快適でサービスもよかったです。

Reception staff welcomed us and couldn’t do more to accommodate our requests. The room was stunning. The spa and swimming pool was a great bonus

Nice enough hotel. Showing its age here and there. Staff were lovely, as was breakfast. Soundproofing between rooms is a concern, let's just say I heard most of what was going on next door overnight 🤔.

Staff were very friendly. Leisure club was very nice with the outdoor jacuzzi and all included in the room price. Breakfast was part buffet and hot food on order - food was fresh and good quality. The furniture in the room was a bit tired. Bed was VERY comfortable:). Didn’t see any aircon so maybe a bit hot on a hot day. Hotel was clean but the downstairs hallway had a strange smell. BE AWARE- if you book by 3rd party they charge £12 for parking. Overall we had a very nice stay.

Lancaster House is a fantastic place for a stop off heading down the motorway. The staff were able to accommodate us even although there was a large group being welcomed. Our room was first class with much appreciated air conditioning on a sweltering day. Our meal was excellent and staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs within a very nice environment.

The hotel, food and staff were all excellent- i was however slightly erked at having to pay £12 parking because I had booked through Hotels .com

Very clean, well maintained room. The staff were all very helpful and courteous. The breakfast had many choices and was all delicious and freshly cooked.

We had a great time staying at Lancaster House Hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable; there was plenty of space for us to spread our belongings around. The drinks table was a nice touch with delicious biscuits and plenty of water, which was topped up on our second day. The shower was excellent, and we really liked the toiletries. Breakfasts were very good, with a great selection of hot and cold food. My only quibble was that the ham for the eggs Benedict was from a ham roll rather than freshly cut off the bone. Other than that, everything was very good.

Quick overnight stop on the way down the M6. Chosen because they have an EV charger and accept dogs, albeit for a £30 surcharge. Bit cheesed off at having to pay £12 for parking though. Room very nice and a good breakfast. Would stay again if passing
