ランカスター大学での調査目的だったので、キャンパスに隣接したこのホテルを選びました。ランカスターの駅から遠いので夜中に着いたらタクシーで行くしかないかと思っていましたが、大学行きのバスはたくさん出ていたのでバスで行きました。ただ駅からバス停までは、グーグルマップを頼りに雨の中を歩かなければなりませんでしたが。大学キャンパスのバス停から、ちょっと見つけにくかったですが、それほど離れているわけではありません。到着してからホテルで夕食を食べるつもりでしたが、ホテルのレストランが９時までと閉まるのが早くギリギリでした。価格の割にはグレードの高いホテルで、部屋は綺麗で広く、快適でサービスもよかったです。

Very clean, well maintained room. The staff were all very helpful and courteous. The breakfast had many choices and was all delicious and freshly cooked.

We had a great time staying at Lancaster House Hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable; there was plenty of space for us to spread our belongings around. The drinks table was a nice touch with delicious biscuits and plenty of water, which was topped up on our second day. The shower was excellent, and we really liked the toiletries. Breakfasts were very good, with a great selection of hot and cold food. My only quibble was that the ham for the eggs Benedict was from a ham roll rather than freshly cut off the bone. Other than that, everything was very good.

Quick overnight stop on the way down the M6. Chosen because they have an EV charger and accept dogs, albeit for a £30 surcharge. Bit cheesed off at having to pay £12 for parking though. Room very nice and a good breakfast. Would stay again if passing

Staff were excellent, room and hotel in general a little bit dated but undergoing modernisation, nice breakfast, nice little spa set up. Would stay again.

All staff throughout the hotel were welcoming and helpful. Leisure facilities are lovely, rooms spacious, comfy and clean. We had a lovely steak meal in the hotel

Stayed at this hotel as en route to Scotland and dog friendly. Staff were friendly and helpful. The added bonus was access to pool and spa facilities which you don’t often get when travelling with a pet. Good food also.
