サンタンデールは予想以上に良かった、もう１泊してのんびりしたかった。部屋もグレートアップして海側の部屋に変えて下さってとても良い眺めでとても満足しました。ホテルの周りは高級別荘地ぽく素敵な家が沢山あり歩いて下ると海岸線に沢山の海水浴客が海水浴場にぎっちり楽しんでおり気持ち良さそうでした。町の中とは違いとても良い立地でしたが買い物とかは不便と思います。

Beautiful property, elegant architecture and amazing views

An old world atmosphere that caters for modern world. Great staff especially Christina who was attentive to our needs.

Beautiful decor, good sized room. Breakfast ok, great choice of continental and cold buffet selection. Very limited hot food. Bar in hotel oddly don’t appear to have any drink menus, we did ask but waitress said no, seems odd that a hotel of this calibre has no wine or cocktail list. The property is advertised as having a spa-wellness area. It doesn’t, the spa closed during Covid and didn’t reopen. There is a gym, it isn’t air conditioned, and is very small with limited equipment. Hotel is about 15 min walk from beach, but very steep hill incline.

A fabulous stay from beginning to end. Wonderful property, excellent staff and service and located in a charming section of Santander with mesmerizing views of the sea below. A step back in time. Loved breakfast on the patio. Easy walk to beautiful neighborhood beaches. A real gem.

Hotel muy bonito y bien ubicado, servicio correcto, el desayuno esta bien aunque le faltan mas opciones como bacon, salchichas al estilo ingles/americano, lo unico q si eché en falta es que no tiene canales de televisión satelital de películas y así, de resto esta muy bien!

L’hôtel a une vue magnifique sur la baie , les chambres sont grandes mais les équipements sont très vieux , l ascenseur toujours inutilisable , c est une clientèle de vieux sans vie , il vaut mieux louer au serf du rto

Good place to stop if your traveling across northern Spain and need a nice hotel with parking

This is the Grande Dame of Santander, built by the king of Spain to accommodate his guests when he stayed at his summer palace. The hotel certainly lives up to this grand tradition in every way. Apart from the stunning architecture, the service was friendly, but incredibly efficient. They anticipate all of your needs and are looking for ways to make your stay more enjoyable. Breakfast, the casual lunch on the terrace, and the fine dining restaurant are all excellent. The hotel is not in the center of things, but if you’re looking for a restful vacation at a beautiful and well run property, this is an excellent choice.

A terrific old school hotel with an amazing views and fantastic setting. Very understated and elegant. If not for couple of small quirks the stay would have been perfect. Chair on the room had wobly legs and was unsuitable for seating, the enclosed terrace had a chocolate wrapper on the floor for the entire 3-day stay and a nice upscale restaurant on premises somehow decided that serving butter in packets lime they do in buffets is ok.

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. We were here for 4 nights. Our room was very spacious. We had a balcony that faced the water, but it was a standing balcony. You could not have any chairs out there. The views were spectacular and the hotel is very well maintained. The only complain I have is that it is advertise that they have a spa and they do not have a spa. It closed during Covid and never opened. Also, there is no pool. Our days at the hotel at the time the temperature was extremely hot in the 90s. It would’ve been nice to go to the pool. They have a beach, but it’s not very close by. You have to walk quite a few blocks to get to it. They do not have any restaurants close by you have to walk quite a few blocks to get to it. As I said, the views are beautiful from the balcony we were on the fourth floor room 402.

What a beautiful hotel. Stunning views over the ocean. Large very comfortable rooms, great patio area. Very helpful staff. Highly recommended.
