Room spacious with a separate shower and comfy beds. Breakfast and dinner were very disappointing. Overcooked, dry and further options not available. Our waitress Zoe was very attentive.

Dirty. Large rat seen running into kitchen as we ate. Gents toilets at the Premier golf course like an open sewer. No working flush.

Parking was a bit of a pain, due to not having enough spaces for residents as well as golfers everyone uses the same carpark.

The stay was very nice and the staff are always friendly! Georgia was on reception at check in and she was helpful and polite, and made me fell very welcome.

Breakfast basic for £18

Rooms ok but service goes downhill quickly when the hotel is busy - had to wait 5 minutes for someone to turn up at the reception desk and the breakfast is limited to a greasy buffet with no real healthy options. Service definitely different to other MacDonald hotels once they have a larger number of guests

On arrival I enquired about room service,the lady on reception informed me that it has been cancelled for tonight and the restaurant was fully booked and hopefully I could get a meal in the lounge bar if they could fit me in or alternatively order a kebab to be delivered to the hotel. I then asked the question about the above, which the receptionist replied we’re mainly a golf destination. There’s only three people staying outside the main Golf group and you’re one of them so our main business is golfers. My point to her was why couldn’t the hotel of let the people know especially with them just being three of them me one of them by email or phone call to say that the Restaurant was fully booked. The room services have been cancelled and you might be able to get a meal in the lounge as I would’ve eaten somewhere else before I arrived at the hotel if I knew how busy it was. I did manage to order in the lounge a couple of minutes before a member of staff came in and said no more orders to be taken the head chefs says,I’ve got in there by literally a couple of minutes the food took a while to arrive and half of it was cold on arrival, which I didn’t bring it up and eat it anyway because of the time it was and I was hungry by that time.

The room was really spacious and clean. It was a little bit old as the carpet was a bit worn in places which was a shame. The pool area was nice and was well maintained. The breakfast was regularly stocked which was a bonus as some hotels are very slow at refreshing the breakfast! All in all, a nice hotel on beautiful grounds. Would stay again

Hotels.com asked for a breakfast specific review, so: Breakfast was a quick and simple hot and cold buffet with plenty of delicious things on offer. Decent coffees are an issue though as you have to pay extra, which seems a little old fashioned. and sometimes they don't switch the coffee machine on early enough.

Front desk receptionist was polite and friendly and the hotel generally has a nice "feel" about the place. Room was superb ( 320 )
