白いバンガロー群が作り出す景観は、ため息が出るほど美しい。このホテルに宿泊するならウォーターフロントの部屋を選択することを強くお勧めする。海が一望できること、ビーチへのアクセスが良いことだけでなく、夏であればテラスから海に沈む夕日を楽しむこともできる。白壁が赤く染まりゆく中、何もせずにただ海を眺める時間は格別で、ルームタイプの差額以上の価値があった。Hotels.comではウォーターフロントバンガローとファミリールームとがほぼ同料金で予約可能で、私たち家族3人はウォーターフロントバンガローに4泊した。ファミリールームの内観を見ていないので定かではないが、外観から判断する限り私たちの選択は正しかったようだ。ファミリールームはホテルメインから隔絶された辺鄙なところにあり、違うホテルなのではないかと思うほど外観も古びている。唯一プールに近いことが利点だが、夜はプールサイドでパーティが開かれるため小さい子供には不向きな環境のように思う。家族4人で宿泊することを考えても、ウォーターフロントバンガローにもダブル一台、ツイン二台の部屋があり、事前リクエストも可能なため、こちらに軍配が上がる。朝食のみのつもりだったが、朝食・夕食込のハーフインクルシブでの宿泊だった。ビュッフェの料理は毎日メニューが変わり食べ飽きることはなく、ほとんどの料理はとてもおいしかった。注意してほしいのは、オールインクルシブの客には無料で提供されている夕食のお酒やドリンクは、ハーフインでは有料であること。サーバからは自由にワインやジュースを注ぐことができるようになっており、有料である旨はどこにも明記されていない。しかし、それを知らずにワインを注いで飲んでいると、厳格そうな給仕にまるで盗人を見るかような顔で怒られる。こちらの間違いではあるのだが、一家の家長としての自負もあるので、家族の前で盗人扱いされるのは我慢がならなかった。その一点だけが残念で、有料であることの明記、注意の仕方やタイミングについて改善を求めたい。風の強い日にビーチに大量の海藻が打ち寄せること、バンガローのテラスに少なからぬ羽アリが発生することなど不快な点もあったが、自然のことなので許容範囲である。全体としては非常に満足している。

Meine Suite war beeindruckend! Direkt am Wasser große Terrasse und das Meer war wunderschön zuhören und zusehen es fühlte sich so an als wäre ich direkt auf dem Meer. Frühstück war ok, wobei es keine Session war, war es mir dann zum Teil doch zu voll am Büffet und leider auch nicht mehr viel übrig wenn man nicht direkt als erster da ist. Das Personal dort war freundlich jedoch ich fühlte mich nicht beachtet da es dort wohl viele Stammgäste gab die komplette Aufmerksamkeit erhalten haben. Nichts desto trotz es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub! Ich war viel am Pool und das Restaurant da war super, sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und Mega lecker! Danke an das Team dort ! Ich empfehle gerne dieses Hotel !

This was sold to us as all inclusive. When we arrived at the resort we were informed that almost everything that we were expecting to be inclusive was in fact not and that we were not even welcome to use or buy from any of the restaurants on site except the one buffet with limited hours. One of the rooms never rec'd a complimentary wine bottle, nor were mini fridges refilled. We had to carry all of the luggage to and from the rooms. Our water was never once even slightly warm in either room so there were frigidly cold showers. Anytime we used the shower or bathtub the marble floors became drenched because both leaked very badly-we had to use all our towels on the mess and never rec'd more. It was a dangerous situation because the floors were very slick. There was only laundry service and to watch clothes for a family of 5 would have cost hundreds. We had to spend hundreds more there because of things we were promised in the booking were to be included and were not. We had to go offsite to find food and the area outside the resort was very poor and rundown. We did not feel safe there at all. We were so miserable at this resort. The hotel said you do not get inclusive stuff unless your stay is 5 days or more. Our stay was 2 nights because we were island hopping a lot. Even the people that did get the "inclusive" status only got 2 vouchers a piece for 5 days of needing meals. This is complete false advertising in order to charge a false premium. It is a con.

Me, my wife, and our five months old son had a wonderful stay at Knossos. We stayed in a suite with sea view, which was beautiful and spacious, and included a beach cabana, which is convenient when travelling with an infant to avoid sun exposure while playing at the beach. The hotel area is beautiful and quiet, and the breakfast and dinner were excellent with a variety of local dishes in addition to more generic choices. And finally, all of the staff (receptionists, waitresses, cleaners…) were so kind, attentive, and accommodating, and they made us feel welcome and safe. Thank you!

Nous avons passe un tres bon sejour en famille. Le room service est actif, et l endroit magnifique. Le personnel est tres présent, d'une grande gentillesse et à l'écoute. Nous remercions tout particulièrement Anastasia, pour le petit dejeuner. Elle a été bienveillante et attentionnée aupres de notre fils. Si je dois revenir sur Heraklion, je reviendrai dans cet établissement.

Amazing! We had the best time! Loved everything about this resort!! Can’t say enough good things about it.

Some of the reviews here must be fake. We felt totally misled by the information on this website. First of all, the property and rooms don't match the photos at all. The photos make everything look glistening and new, when in reality the entire property was quite run-down: paint was peeling, stairs were rickety, metal pillars were rusty. The photos showed loungers and cabanas spread all across the beach when in reality they were all crammed in one corner of the beach. Second, the website quoted a price in Canadian $ but then we were charged the same amount in EUR, which increased the price by 50%. This was very deceptive. When we arrived we were put in a split level room where the air conditioner on the upper level with the bed was broken. So the lower level was cold but the sleeping level was very warm. We called the front desk and were told that they knew it was broken and it was scheduled to be fixed after our stay. I complained and after the concierge spoke to the manager, we were moved to another room - which was much smaller and older than the one we booked. When we complained aabout this, we were told it is in the same category and, therefore, the same price as the one we booked. There was nothing luxurious about this resort, especially for the price. It felt like the owners had completely neglected it. Very disappointed.

Amazing stay, with my family of 4. Beautiful and quaint hotel, as close to the beach as you can get. We had a gorgeous suite with a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. The breakfast was a lovely spread. We’ll be back at this spot!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich mit frisch gepressten Orangensaft begrüßt und bekamen ein tolles Zimmer mit Meerblick. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, sehr geräumig. Bei Fragen konnte man jederzeit über einen Chat oder natürlich persönlich Kontakt aufnehmen und es wurde uns immer sofort geholfen. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Jeden Tag gab es viel Abwechslung und die Qualität der Lebensmittel war sehr hoch. Wir wurden sehr positiv überrascht!
