Don't book if you are looking for a fancy holiday. It is a basic self-catering with one pot and one pan in the kitchen. You have to throw your rubbish out yourselves. Clean but with old facilities. It is ok for adults if you are just after the beach and a regular pool but NOT RECOMMENDED WITH KIDS. We booked for a week, with a 9 and 11 year old kids. There are no activities in the hotel, no game/sports facilities, no parks for kids in this area. There is a wifi but can't reach the rooms. We have to use our phone data to connect to the TV. It was a last minute booking so I did not have the time to do a research. We are on a budget and I thought this was a good deal, however it actually costed us more. I wish I booked the all-inclusive instead. Closest store with limited options is about 10 mins walk under the scorching heat. If you are not renting a car, I advise you look somewhere else. No bus stop near the hotel and a taxi for a short trip is not cheap either. There is no direct transport from Alicante airport. You have to take a bus to Torrevieja €7, then taxi to the hotel which is about €30. A taxi direct from the airport is around €100 depending on the traffic. Hope this helps!
