立地、客室、スタッフ、朝食、どれも素晴らしく快適に過ごせました。 一つだけ残念だったのは冷蔵庫が無かったことにです。2日の短期滞在なので、あったら良かったなぁ。くらいな感じです。 また、Stevenage に滞在する際には利用したいです。

The amount of water of shower is too little. The variety of breck fast menu is too little.

Breakfast was good didn't use parking

The first issue, hotel air conditioning system wasn’t working. One of the hottest periods in 2026 topping 30C. The hotel should have offered to reduce my nightly rate, comp breakfast, something. At an absolute minimum there should have been several pitchers of ice water and glasses throughout the lobby area all day. Staff having loud ( un work related) conversations in lobby. limited awareness of their impact on peaceful comfort of guests. Shower drain (room 309) 90% blocked. By the end of a short shower, one or two inches of standing water. I am 65yr old man, no hair. Obviously cleaning staff are not cleaning the showers properly. Bathroom door doesn’t close.

The air conditioning wasn’t working

The hotel itself is in a good location and staff friendly and helpful but the aircon is broken constantly and when asked (as many other guests did too) the reply from staff was that it’s just temporarily broken down. However they did reply later to other guest suggesting it will be likely repaired in September) yeah when the weather cools down. The lobby is air conditioned but the room upstairs all of them are incredibly uncomfortably hot. It’s strange because in summer many other Holidays Inn hotels have the same issues but in winter it’s the heating which is broken. Also rooms coincidentally have a fan and small heater available too as though this is the long term solution. Anyway it’s not a bad hotel and I don’t blame the staff for the poor management cost savings on these somewhat pricey places to stay.

Room was very clean, staff were always polite and helpful. Breakfast menu was very good, however I was a little disappointed with the evening meal that I had. The chicken skewer was slightly overcooked so a bit tough. Main issue for me was that the air conditioning was not working in the rooms. There was a fan provided but as the temperatures had been very high, the fan just circulated hot air. I feel that better provision should have been made.

No AC, a bit tricky moving as another Holiday Inn nearby ( not express) Almost no ice at bar. Food choices late are order in. 1 elevator out of service.

Great warm welcome from Tom on reception. Great price for the night with breakfast. Disappointed that breakfast finished at 10am on a Sunday. Breakfast was ok but not more choice. Plenty of parking around hotel too. Would stay again : )

Ontbijt was goed. Personeel ochtendshift was goed personeel middagshift was minder en arrogant. Airco in kamer werkte niet. Telefoon in kamer ontbrak. Kamer was erg heet en niet te koelen met de geleverde ventilator. 1 van de 2 liften werkten in het geheel niet. Parkeren was alleen beschikbaar voor invaliden.

Decent Holiday Inn, everything as you would expect. Parking a bit of a pain, and the breakfast was a bit disorganised, but overall ok.

Should inform people the aircon is out of service in the rooms!

There is no designated car parking, although there is a Council based car park behind the hotel, with a fee payable to the relevant authority. Breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of tasty morsels supplied. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the bearded guy on the evening shift, he seemed to be check in, come chef, come waiter role, top marks to him. The room was clean and stocked with tea/coffee, hot chocolate would have been nice too if supplied. A toilet brush in the bathroom would have been useful.

Great check in. Comfortable room. Great breakfast.

Handy for train station. Nice room. Pleasant staff. Excellent breakfast.

Location: A 10 minute walk to Stevenage station, which has direct routes to London and the North. Supermarket and nightlife also within 10 minutes. Service: Excellent. Staff are amazing. We had an issue with a forgotten item, they helped to reunite us with it. Room: Not great, but not bad either. The aircon unit (though not strictly advertised as included) was on its last legs, as was the TV. The bathroom was somewhat overdue for a refurb. The bed, having just been replaced, was a little on the firm side. That said, the room was clean and spacious. Parking: Limited. There is a tiny bit of on street parking, but it is time limited and pricey. There is a larger long-stay car park just 5 minutes from the hotel with reasonable pricing. Breakfast: Fantastic. Advertised as continental, but also had supplies for a full English. Overall: If you need somewhere to stay in the area, it's worth a look.

Customer service was great, breakfast was lovely and the fact you’re so close to EVERYTHING is really helpful if you don’t drive. Even the station is only a 10min walk away.

Good location close to town centre. The breakfast buffet was excellent, they did an amazing job with this. Staff were very helpful and stay was great value for money
