It was little old in some places, but not uncomfortable. The staff were all very nice and helpful. It was well cleaned. Breakfast was a little varied and tasty, so I had a good morning time.

Room qwas spacious, location good, breakfast adequate, service friendly. Mattress seemed a bit lumpy and old, but beddings were comfortable. Recommend!

Charged my card but didn’t let me into my room

Nice staff they try hard, beds are terrible, wifi doesn’t work and you can hear everything. They were gracious and refunded my next two nights and allowed me to check out early so they are certainly trying but if your looking for comfort and ability to work not the best

Hotel was great but the front morning desk staff were rude

This was our second stay at the Matrix this month. We upgraded to a VIP suite and it was FABULOUS! The hotel extended extra perks, and, when we did have a coupe of issues, they responded quickly and professionally. I appreciate the staff’s attention to our needs!

Did not receive any benefits for VIP. We requested a room away from the elevator, and the hotel was able to accommodate us.

Everything inside the hotel was great. Exterior was in rough shape and very dirty.

Great location to DT, walking distance to where I needed to be for meetings.

As we checked in a day later had a hard time finding our reservation.

Pressure wash the sidewalk and small driveway area. Clean once inside the building. Staff very friendly and helpful both at check in and check out.

This hotel was conveniently located to our meeting venue . I knew from prior stays to arrive early for parking access. Unfortunately, the restaurant no longer provides a free glass of wine like in the past. Oh well. The breakfast was a very good buffet style. However, there was some confusion when we checked in and I was surprised by a bill after I had been given a voucher by the front desk. The ability to upgrade to a suite (if available) is a nice feature of the hotel. Generally a good stay but more expensive than expected.

A very good choice for downtown Edmonton, clean and globally good.

The parking was awful. No here to park. By the time I found parking, the parking officer gave me a $98 ticket when I was just checking into the hotel. The tv didn’t properly work, the food in restaurant said they had chicken strips and gave us Dino processed chicken nuggets not strips. I checked out and my license plate was broken and bent as well as my wiper on vehicle was ripped and damaged. I asked to see the cameras but told only to make a police report. So frustrating. For the price I paid it was not a great stay.

The first night charge via Expedia was $269; the second night was $399; the 3rd night was $699. It was never made clear to me that there would be a step charge like this; the bill for 3 nights was over $1500. I would like a rebateof at least $300. I will not book via Expedia ever again. I will tell about my Expedia Matrix experience on all platforms available to me.

The room had a great view, but lots of space in the room is what I loved.

Good location. Clean. Walkable to the LRT which made getting to the stadium easy.
