Always enjoy our trips to the Celtic Manor. A fantastic hotel / resort. Superb facilities for all the family, whilst also very relaxing as a couple. Superb room. We went for Signature King Room which was certainly worth the extra £20 for all the extras we got on what is in essence their executive children free floor (6th floor) with use of the Signature Lounge. We would certainly look to do this in future.

Everything was fantastic

The staff are lovely but they are trying too hard to make up for a hotel that is clearly long overdue for investment. The service is excellent, the location is wonderful but the hotel itself is tired and showing its age in almost every area. It could be great, it’s just not.

We arrived early and had afternoon tea which was pleasant except for a lack of staff. (10 mins before being approached to order) which is something i have never experienced before in a 5 star establishment. From here the saga gets a lot worse.....resulting in a full refund ( which i am yet to recieve for some reason)

Staff very accommodating and helpful. Olive restaurant was clean and staff very helpful. Food was delicious with plenty of choice . We had a balcony room with fabulous views .

They need water in the rooms.

Everything was top class, food, room , service the only down side was the cost of everything. So expensive!

Enjoyed my stay but had a few issues with my room - light in the bathroom did not work and water pressure in the shower was low. However, the hotel overall was really lovely and I would stay again. Just make sure that you book any spa treatments in advance as these book up very quickly.

Lovely hotel. Upgraded to room with a balcony. Excellent customer service. Comfortably bed. Beautiful view from the balcony, Excellent choice for breakfast. I am a coeliac and the gluten free requirements were catered for.

Excellent room clean spacious. Spa in amazing.

This is a three star hotel charging five star prices. Our so called superior room had old furniture and looked like it hadn’t been painted for years. The patio door was almost coming off its rails and had seen better days. The balcony overlooked the M4 and was old and rundown. The bathroom was old fashioned marble with discoloured grouting and even some mould in the shower.The buffet breakfast was quite good but unimaginative. The parking cost us £40 for two nights. Sorry but just not good value given the standard of the room. We won’t be back.

Amazing break Lovely hotel

It is a nice hotel and well looked after. Everything seems to be over priced and extra charges for everything. The spa was very busy and not as plush as I had imagined it. Still a great resort and had that old posh feel about it
