イングリッシュガーデンのあるきれいなホテルでした。 2階建てのホテルのためエレベーターが無いので荷物を運ぶのには不便でした。

Last minute booking for work. Staff were friendly, plenty of parking, a comfy bed and a quality English breakfast.

A very pleasant two night stay. Excellent staff, good parking, nice, clean and warm room, good breakfast. All round a very good experience and would certainly use again.

The bed was uncomfortable and hard as were the pillows.

Even though I had a email from the hotel to say they could offer me a top floor room we didn’t get one when we checked in. Room 13 needs a good clean top to bottom as high dusting certainly dosent get done due to thick cobwebs!! Around the bottom of towel bowl on the outside was also dirty and sticky off old urine. Still smells of urine in the bathroom but could be due to floor tiles and it’s in the grouting on the floor!!

Great stay - restaurant food and breakfast was great. Lovely place to stay.

Great setting

Staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping had missed food left in fridge by previous guest. Had meal in restaurant. My meal of lamb rump was very poor. Meat fatty. They did apologise and gave me my dessert as an apology. My husbands meal was ok.

Had a lovely stay. The hotel had a really nice feel to it and the staff were very friendly. Would highly reccomend.

The perfect stay

I should note that we stayed here during the heatwave in July 2025 first for context. The hotel does have quite a 1990s feel to it in the rooms so isn’t particularly modern. The room unfortunately doesn’t have air conditioning so we did struggle to sleep. There was a small fan but it wasn’t particularly powerful and once you get past the torn window netting the window has limited opening so unable to really get any air in. The shower head needs to be replaced, it clearly has some damage / leakage at the connection as water comes down from the pipe as well as the actual shower head. I tried the room service ordering system which is WhatsApp, it’s been nearly a week now and I’m still waiting for the reply so this clearly is something that just doesn’t work, good idea though but not very useful if no one answers. Instead I walked five minutes down the road to the Co-op for some quick food and water. I’m aware I could also have ordered at reception, but why should I have to work my way through their varying ways of ordering before I find one that is working. Breakfast was ok, small selection of food and standard items. I did have to hover around the ‘wait here to be seated’ sign for a few minutes though before I was noticed. I guess in summary, it’s ok if you just want a bed to sleep in for the night but overall service wasn’t great, rooms are tired, wouldn’t recommend if you wanted a nice break. First experience of this chain and likely my last.
