4泊しました。まず、夜にチェックインして、寝る前にシャワーをあびようとしたら、シャワーが出ない。長距離移動で疲れ切ってる中フロントに伝えて、何とか別の部屋に変えてもらった。そして翌日、今度は朝に、急に天井の照明がとれて、今度は大量の雨漏りが。呆れて、修理してくれとお願いして、その日のうちに直してもらったのですが、今度はその夜中、寝ている最中に、バスルームと部屋の中で再び雨漏りが。これが四つ星ホテルとは、どうかと思う。街の中心から離れているので、この設備では、わぞわざとまる必要もないかと思います。ただし、スタッフの対応は普通かな。朝食はまあまあです。

日本人を見下したようなスタッフの対応

プラハから列車で移動してブタペスト本駅から徒歩で約25分、バスだと約5分くらいで、街の中心部ではありませんが、観光に向かうにも便利な場所にあります。幸いバスタブ付きの部屋でとても清潔感があり、特に朝食ブッフェが美味しかったです。地下鉄やバスを上手く使えばとてもリーズナブルなおすすめのホテルだと思います。

駅から少し歩くが周りはゴミゴミしておらず、落ち着いた雰囲気。スタッフの応対は普通。部屋の設備も普通で、ワイヤレスインターネットは受付スタッフに申し出て使用開始する方法。おおむね清潔で不満な点は無かったが、火災報知機が発報してエレベーターが使用不能になった時間帯があり、階段での移動は少し疲れた。

レビューを参考にこのホテルを選んだが、残念な結果となりました。まずホテルのサービスに問題が多い。タクシーをよんでくれない、遅着手荷物が届き次第部屋へ搬入するよう依頼しておいても放置したまま、4泊したが一度もシーツ交換がなかった。ちなみに毎日ピローマネーを１〜2.5ユーロ置いて依頼しても無駄だった。またホテル周辺環境は良くなく，特に女性にはお勧めできない。実際物乞いの人たちに囲まれて困った。 以上の理由でお勧めはできません。

駅から少し離れていますが、バスをうまく使いこなせばバス停も目の前ですし、ホテル設備もスタッフもとてもよかったです。朝食もコンチネンタルの中でもかなりいいほうだと思います。

The room is small and the bathroom is small

Sehr angenehmes, geräumiges Zimmer. Sehr herzliches, außergewöhnlich engagiertes Personal. Schwimmbad sehr hilfreich. Vielfältiges Frühstück. Nur die Brotqualität könnte besser sein, wie z. B. Vollkornbrot. Lage war sehr passend für mich und die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel praktisch, in einer Minute erreichbar. , in meinem Alter kostenlos. Einkaufsmöglichkeit in 3 - 4 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Restaurant des Hotels auch sehr angenehm, mit Terasse. Die Lage zwar in einer Nebenstraße, jedoch nah an einer sehr befahrenen Hauptstraße war doch okay und ruhig, wenn die Fenster zu waren. Ich kann das Hotel sehr empfehlen! Ich hatte dort einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt.

The staff were welcoming and kind, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The pool was absolutely amazing and a perfect place to relax. Breakfast offered a great variety and was excellent value for the price. Special mention to the bartenders as well – they were fantastic and really added to the friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Budapest!

It was really great choice, the neighborhood is nice and quite and walking distance from the big part that was amazing. I love the swimming pool which is hard to find in Europe hotel, perfect for the last day with little Jacuzzi and sauna! Highly recommended for everyone :)

We had a very nice 3 day stay in Lion's Garden Budapest. Spa was a very nice extra which we didn't know about beforehand. Breakfast was ample, but missing vegan options. Courtyard was very nice for drinks. Location of the hotel was great, just a few blocks away from the amazing city park and there are plenty of buses to whisk you to the closest metro/tram. Room was very nice, if a little worn out. But that's what you can expect from a little aged hotel. It did get very warm in the room during the night. Parking was free on the street, but we took the garage for one day and the ramp leading there is NARROW so be careful. All in all excellent price/quality ratio for Budapest in high season.

Vores ophold i Budapest blev desværre ikke, som vi havde håbet. Allerede ved ankomst mødte vi en ret uengageret modtagelse uden info om hotellets faciliteter – dem måtte vi selv opsøge. Men det værste skete til morgenmaden på afrejsedagen: En ansat kom gentagne gange hen og mindede os om, at vi skulle betale – selvom vi sagde, vi ville gøre det efter maden. Hun forsøgte ovenikøbet at opkræve betaling for vores barn, som receptionen ellers havde sagt skulle spise gratis. Og som prikken over i’et skældte hun vores barn ud, fordi han kortvarigt stod uden sko – selvom han havde dem på ved ankomst, men blot havde glemt dem ved bordet. Der var intet venligt eller professionelt over den måde, vi blev behandlet på. Vi rejser en hel del som familie og har oplevet både godt og skidt – men ingen steder har været som dette. Første og sidste gang på Lion’s Hotel.
