総合評価とレビュー Cala de Mar Resort & Spa Ixtapa

We could have wonderful time in Cala de Mar in December 2017. It was the second time to stay this hotel and was called Capella last time. The second stay was also great in spite of its name and operation were changed. We really want to return here even though it takes more than 20 hours from our city, Tokyo. The design and architecture if this hotel is awesome. All of staff were also incredible. Especially Jorge and Laura always made our days. We like Mexico very much and recommend this hotel if you like stylish hotel to stay. We visit Mexico once a year and think Cala de Mar in Ixtapa and Nizuc in Cancun are two top for us.

We enjoyed everything at Cala de Mar. It was so relaxing, the staff was amazing, they helped us with all our questions about activities and tours. We can’t wait to go back!

Excelente hotel para relajarse en el spa y una súper opción que tenga alberca privada en las habitaciones

Desde nuestra llegada, el trato del personal fue excepcional: muy amables, atentos y siempre con una sonrisa. Las instalaciones del hotel son preciosas, todo está muy bien cuidado y decorado con mucho gusto. Me sorprendieron con un hermoso detalle por mi cumpleaños: decoraron la cama con flores y me felicitaron de forma muy especial. La alberca privada fue uno de los grandes puntos a favor: disfrutarla con esa vista espectacular al mar fue simplemente mágico. Aunque no hay playa como tal, hay un área donde puedes sentarte a escuchar el sonido de las olas, lo cual resultó increíblemente relajante. Sin duda, un lugar al que me encantaría volver.

This hotel really is something special. Beautifully designed and maintained property, built against a cliff-side with crashing surf right below. Breathtaking ocean views from every room. Private sun deck and plunge pool in room. Friendly and professional staff make you feel immediately welcome and look after your every need. Excellent restaurants and spa on site. Even the gym is spotless with a fantastic view. Would strongly recommend to the discerning traveller looking for something a little more classy.

My stay at Cala de Mar in Ixtapa was truly fantastic. The room was stunning, featuring a private jacuzzi with breathtaking views, creating the perfect spot to unwind. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the staff was warm and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. While the hotel is exceptional, a few improvements could elevate it further. First, gratuities are already included, but this isn’t clearly communicated, which can cause confusion. More transparency would enhance the experience. Second, while the food was decent, a more skilled chef would bring the dining to the same high standard as the rest of the hotel. Additionally, the Seafood Market restaurant’s reservation system needs improvement—despite requiring reservations, my table was given away to other guests. Another issue was room service, which often took up to an hour—a long wait for a luxury hotel. Improving efficiency here would be a great enhancement. Despite these minor issues, Cala de Mar remains an incredible destination. The breathtaking views, exceptional rooms, and welcoming atmosphere make it a wonderful place to relax. With a few refinements, it has the potential to be truly world-class. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a luxurious, peaceful, and scenic escape in Ixtapa!
