伝統的な旅館の格式を今に至るまで保つのは並大抵の努力では叶わないことと思います。 それを未だに完璧に味合わせて頂ける元奈古さんには頭が下がります。

蚊の対策の製品がおいてあったら良かったと思う。

公式サイトに、朝食が必要かはチェックイン時に伝えるように掲載されていたが、チェックイン時には翌日朝食は満席で出せないと言われました。 朝食が出せないとわかっていたら、他の宿にしたかったです。 なので、当日チェックイン前にでも早めに朝食を必要であることを電話で伝えておけばよかったです。 三連休で当日に、宿変更をすることも厳しかったので朝食なしで仕方なく泊まりました。

決して街のど真ん中ではないのですが、食べてから15分程度歩いて帰れる場所だったので、散歩好きにはとってもいいと思います。 トイレなどは共有、お風呂も時間制と、ちょっと民宿っぽいですが、接客も丁寧だし、居心地よく過ごせました。毎日お布団の上においてあるおりがみや、茶菓子が毎日違うといった細かい気遣いに、ぬくもりを感じるいい宿でshちあ。

京らしい、素敵な夜を過ごせました。 歴史と伝統を感じました。 窓の外の城下町、澄んだ空気、貸し切りの木のお風呂も良かったです。 女将さんのおもてなしを受け、いい宿に来たなぁとほっこりしました。 ありがとうございました。

土曜日に素泊まりで泊まりました。客室は小奇麗にされていて、夕食を外で食べている間に布団も敷いてくださいました。接客は非常に丁寧で良いと思います。高台寺近くのねねの道にあるため、祇園周辺観光目的の旅行には非常に利便性が高いです。残念だったのは、部屋の鍵の立て付けが悪く何度も鍵を回さないと鍵がかからないこと、部屋の花の生け方、周辺が観光地なので夜遅くまで騒音がある、くらいでしょうか。全体的には良いお宿だと思います。

素晴らしいおもてなしのおかげで暑い中でしたが、京都を満喫できました。ちょっとしたサービス（旅館に帰ってくるたびに毎回ちがったお菓子とお茶を淹れてくれる、顔を覚えていてくれて玄関を開けると靴を出してくれる、等）が心にしみました。

北は銀閣寺から哲学の道を南下すると南禅寺や清水寺、西は八坂神社や祇園と歩き回れる範囲の広い処にある「ねねの道」脇の老舗旅館です。

観光名所の近くですが夜は静かでゆっくり休めました。朝、夕食とも美味しく、満足の内容です。また利用したいです。

La mejor atención que pude encontrar en Japón, el personal es increíblemente atento y muy alegre, de verdad hicieron toda la diferencia. No duden en vivir la experiencia de un riokan con MOTONAGO no se arrepentirán, espero volver pronto a Kyoto y hospedarme con ellos, ademas de que esta cerca de las mejores zonas.

It was an amazing experience, super clean and attentive staff. Just notice the photo of ryokan's door because it is not obvious where to go and the taxi didnt know either :)

Serene and authentically sweet! Gorgeous

Very cozy Ryokan with very nice staff. The bath was very good. We got the kaiseki dinner, and it was a bit too much fish for us. The western breakfast was very tasty.

We had the best experience with this beautiful Ryokan. The staff was so sweet, the food was amazing, and the room was 10 out off 10. I definitely recommend this amazing Ryokan. I do recommend to know the basics of Japanese to better communicate with the staff. The location was as well perfect, walk distance from the main attractions and that made it easier for us to visit them without having many tourist around.

Exactly the traditional ryokan experience we were looking for. Kind and attentive staff tended to our every need. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and quiet with the beautiful smell of cedar permeating the ryokan. Scheduling the bath was done at check in. The shower and bath were fantastic. Very relaxing. Dinner was a phenomenal experience. What a wonderful way to try new preparations and flavors we would typically not know to order. The whole broiled fish was a favorite, along with the one pot course. Skillfully prepared and presented. We chose the traditional Japanese breakfast to round out a traditional Japanese experience and despite it being a very different breakfast than what we would typically have, we loved it! One night was sufficient for us but well worth it. We would gladly come back again!!

Fantastic service and lovely facilities. We had the Kaiseki dinner and it was a wonderful and memorable experience despite the many Japanese flavors that honestly did not suit our tastebuds. The plating was beautiful and the service so kind and gentile that we still loved the whole experience.

방이 너무 추워요

Overall experience was great. Service was very good and staff were excellent. I did not think the quality of the dinner was great and the pillows were not very comfortable to me, but loved the experience other than that.

It was very authentic, which is what we wanted
