一番上の部屋でした。８月だったので、晴れていると日中は窓を開けていても暑かったです。海は見えません。 　階段しかないので少し大変です。特に最後の階段は細くなっており、荷物を持って上がるのは大変でした。（階段の踊り場に所々、椅子とキャンディーが置いてあって、「休憩」できます。） 　朝早くから、カモメ（海鳥が周辺にたくさんいます）の声が結構うるさいです。でも、海側の部屋だったら海鳥込みで景色がすごく素敵だったと思います。 　水回り、部屋の使い勝手は、普通にいいです。清潔さはありました。 　到着時刻を知らせてほしいと事前にメールが来ます。知らせておかないと、チェックイン時間内でも、スタッフがいないこともあるようです。時間内なのに入口がロックされており、張り紙がされてスタッフがいない日がありました。（宿泊者は、部屋の鍵で入口の鍵を開けて入ることができます。） 　駅へも旧市街へも徒歩５分程度で、便利でした。 　宿泊費を考えると、「オトクな宿」だったと思います。

シャワーの温度が不安定で使い辛い。石鹸はなくジェルのみ。ベッドサイドの明かりは灯かなかった（一泊だけなので放っといた）。チェックイン時に名前を口頭で確認されただけで書類等への記入や署名、パスポートやクレジットカードの提示も一切求められないのが意外。マネジャーと思しき中年のオヤジさん以外は朝食時のメイドを除いて従業員の姿は見かけなかった。そのオヤジさんも日中留守することも。部屋の鍵はホテル玄関の鍵を兼ねてる。洗面台は顔を洗おうと屈むと棚に頭をぶつける。どうみても設計ミス。結局洗顔はシャワーで。Wifi無料だがスピードが非常に遅い。ミニ冷蔵庫等最低限の設備と海に面した部屋だったのと立地が比較的いいのは評価。

Perfect location for a short stay. Close to theatre if going to an event at the pier or white Rock theatre. Room very clean. Plugs on both sides of bed, tea and coffee well stocked and lots of hangers. Bed could do with a mattress topper though!

I had a beautiful beach view from my room. All is good.

The room is neat and comfortable.

Stayed over for business, parking is near hotel (£10.50) and a very short walk. WiFi was good & rooms are fairly dated due to the age of the hotel but they have done a good job making clean and looked to be the best of the row of hotels in the area. Would stay again if I was in the area. Couple that run it were lovely and very helpful!

La chambre était parfaite avec vue sur mer. Le lit est confortable, baignoire dans la salle de bain. Keith est très sympathique et prépare un petit déjeuner parfait. Bon séjour. Check-in autonome possible

Enjoyed my stay will hopefully go again as right near the sea .

The room was spotless and featured a balcony with views over the sea. Attention to guests every need were in the room. Huge bath with a shower, backlit mirror, glass tumblers and wine glasses, penny of tea,coffee and biscuits. The bed was so comfortable and it was quiet too. Lovely friendly hosts.

Lovely traditional B&B with a very friendly welcome and great breakfast. Very comfortable room with fabulous sea view and even a fridge! Thanks for a great stay.

lovely quiet stay

Clean room and looked like the bathroom had been refurbished recently. Comfortable bed and Hotel was affordable in a great location. Breakfast consisted of juice and coffee/tea, cereals and a nice full English which sets you up for the day. I Would definitely stay here again if I return to Hastings.

Great place to stay, both Keith and Wendy at the property and nice people , would definitely recommend this place to stay.

It was an amazing experience. Checking was easy, the room was clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect as it made it easy to get around the beautiful town of Hastings. I would highly recommend.
