Room was moldy and had trim that fell when door opened or closed.

The property needs some TLC and an upgrade. The bathroom door was falling from the hinges, where you had to physically lift the door to open it and close it. The floor by the Jazzucci Tub needs to be fixed. Every time you step in front of the tub, you sink. WALL PAPER NEEDS FIXING, AND THE RUG NEEDS TO BE FIXED

Located just across from Asilomar entrance, less than 5 minutes walk to conference center and dining hall (can buy meal tickets for attending conferences), closer than many rooms on site, but much more private and quiet. The buildings look worn/old, but the rooms were large, clean, and comfortable with a gas fireplace, sitting area, bathroom with large jacuzzi tub/shower, tv, microwave and fridge, wet bar, and better than expected local drip coffee. The rooms were very quiet and it was easy to walk to and from Asilomar for a conference. The walkways were well lit coming back at night, with a bus stop directly in front, 4 way intersection for crossing the road, and very few cars, so it was extremely convenient. The maid was very nice.

Great location and spacious room

Outside areas were dirty with trash laying around. Landscaping was not kept up at all inside rooms were not kept up. Bathroom door would not shut dishes provided were dirty sheets on bed had permanent stains and should have been discarded and replaced. Overall could be a nice place but did not seem at all kept up or clean. Would not recommend and will not stay again on my biannual visits

We liked the space in the room. Quiet place and near the ocean. We will stay again.

It's a nice place we liked it not too far from the beach they also have deer that come right up to you and beg for food my girlfriend really like that I guess they have no fear of people overall it was just a nice experience I'd stay there again

Nice cabins in a quite area. Big room. Very big bed. Easy check in. Friendly staf. Rooms were a bid noisy and outdated

Very unique layout with a few rooms per building and very large rooms. Nice location tucked in the trees.

If you like goodwill furniture, this is the place for you!

Cute room with jetted tub and fireplace for decent price! Faucets were lose in bathroom on sink and tub and could use some fixing up but still worth it.

A lot of things were in poor shape . The shower tub didn’t look clean and in poor condition . Bed was too high . Windows and screens were in poor shape . Not all the lights were in working condition . The floor was uneven and my wife almost fell . We did not like the check out procedure . Just drop your door key in an envelope taped to the front door . I left the keys but not the envelope sleeve so no one would know which room they went to . Didn’t want everyone to know that the room was vacant and they could just go and clean the place out .

The location was excellent, and we had a pleasant stay. However, the property would benefit from a more thorough cleaning. While the rooms were maintained adequately, they could use some updating to enhance the overall experience.

Pictures on website not representative of actual property. Requested towels 3 times never received. Room in disrepair torn rugs. Not very clean . Jacuzzi tub didn’t work. Fixtures in bathroom rusty. Pictures off wall . Slept and left at 5am

Very peaceful

It was run down. Torn curtains and shower curtain. Carpets were torn up. Wallpaper peeling off. Mildew on baseboards in bathroom. Weeds 4 feet tall outside our backdoor. Bathtub/jacuzzi was so bad could not use it. Water pressure very low.Pillows were all like cement. Hurt my back and neck. Electric cords were loose in sockets. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!! VALERIE HAND

Super quiet. The 500+ft suites are 10x better than the smaller rooms, and totally worth the small extra charge. Fast wifi. 2 TVs in the two large rooms. Strong water pressure. Many extras in kitchen area. Chairs/sofas need an update (old, but clean). Beds were springy, but comfortable. Fireplace worked well.

This was our second time staying and we love how quiet this area is and yet it is close enough to many of our favorite areas to visit while in Monterey.
