After experiencing a flat tire incident at Calder Park Court, we tried to find a hotel that had a car park. It's not an easy thing at Liverpool. After Googling, I found an article from a travel blog recommending this hotel on the top row, thanks to the parking lot. Not wanting to be careless about booking a room, we finally went directly to the hotel to see its condition. A large three-story old house with lots of spotlights at night. Pretty haunted! But the best thing is that the parking lot is there! It was quite difficult and very slippery to enter their yard by car because the floor was covered with pebbles, finally decided to book a room here via the app. Five minutes later I approached the front office employee who was casually chatting at the bar. He was quite shocked. “You booked a room at this hotel? How could it be? When? For how long? Because the whole place is already booked for the wedding reception?” Whoa, whoa. Finally, he asked me to wait because the order I made via the app had not been entered into their booking system, haha. While waiting in the living room, I was surprised. It turns out that this hotel was, in the early ' 60s, the home of Stuart Sutcliffe, co-founder and original member of The Beatles, before the Macca era was popular in the band. There are lots of Stuart memorabilia in this hotel, ranging from photographs, paintings, letters, musical instruments and so on. You can see it along the corridors of this hotel from the first floor to the third floor. We got a room on the top floor which had to be reached without a lift as there were only stairs. The next morning, after the sun brightly lit, we found that this hotel is located right across from Sefton Park with its beautiful lake. Coincidentally, we also found a special post by Paul McCartney on his IG reminiscing about Sefton Park and the lake as a hangout location with John, George, and Ringo. Of course, after that our family decided to pose together in front of the lake. Thank you Sefton Park Hotel, someday we will come back again. Come together!
