The staff were extremely hospitable. And could not do enough to be helpful, polite and positive. I will definitely go back.

1st room did not have a view stairs in front of window and I paid extra for a room with a river view which they did. Change the room the room that they put us in had a river side view with patio but no seating just a broken box The room was not serviced after the 1st night and had to ask for towels and tea and coffee

1st the name outside isn't Sunday its something else. Reception wasn't great. 24 hrs not!. The room was a double with river view so you expect a view. But nope outside was a public footpath were everyone could look in on you. Weeds everywhere and high in cut grass. The room was dated. No phone although they claim room service. We had 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel. No hanging hook for those either. The water was hot though. We had RM 4 which was ground level. And I thought a coffee outside over looking the Thames would make the trip but that didn't happen. The car park was full and there's a charge. Apart from reception other staff seemed fine and polite. The bed was comfortable and enough pillows. Bathroom was extremely dark with a few spot lights in the ceiling impossible to do make up with. And fitting that held shower head in place was broken. All in all would not stay there again. Hope this helps

So I’ll start with what’s good - beds comfy, shower gel nice That’s it The hotel is very dirty We only got one towel so had to go get another one No hot water for shower in morning - got told oh we will move your room ( seemed to be a standard answer as this was offered to the people with ants in their room I didn’t see the point in moving rooms as how would that have water got asked to come back to see the manager before I left - surprisingly no one was around and reception locked

Very comfortable bed and nice location. Only negative is the fact that the mains radiator never came on and the front desk didn’t do anything about it when notified so was a little cold. Shower was also difficult to turn off.

While this hotel is central, major bathroom renovations are needed. In addition the lift wasn’t working and people in my group had to climb many stairs to get to their rooms. I couldn’t fault the service of the breakfast crew.

It was a good clean room and a nice hotel all round the only issue was that the room bathroom door wouldn’t lock so my child could walk in on me luckily that didn’t happen

Very simple Mercure hotel in Staines. If you can, stay at the Swan across the river instead

The receptionist was extremely pleasant and helpful. I had a very nice room and drink on the terrace watching the sun go down.

Stayed one night, decor is outdated but bed and pillows clean and comfortable. Had the river view although it was a shame I couldn't actually open the balcony due to security straps. Unfortunately there was a door into another room next door, which was locked of course, but I could hear every word the couple next door were saying just as if they were in my bathroom.

We stayed at this hotel following the fire at Heathrow airport that cancelled our flight. The price was perfect, the location was amazing and the staff were just incredible. From Magda in the morning that made sure breakfast was always a wonderful start to the day to Kira that served us drinks and dinner in the evenings. They were both incredible and are an immense asset to the hotel! The rooms were very comfortable, the food was plentiful and great quality! I would recommend this hotel for anyone in the area of Heathrow. It is not right at the airport, but a quick 20 minutes by taxi. Because of this, the traveler is close to the airport but away from the hustle and bustle associated with the airport. Shops are very close by, the train station is near as well as a large number of bus routes.

All hotel staff were prompt and courteous with requests. We especially enjoyed the lounge area. The hotel is conveniently located along the river, which provides a scenic walk to restaurants, shopping, and train station.
