Not bad as some reviews, middle aged gentleman was friendly and guided me to the other building. He even showed me how to get to the nearest local bus stop for the next morning (I didn't take it after all, though). £13 for taxi from Stansted airport and £11 for easy bus to the airport. Local bus, Harlow is also available with much cheaper fare as £3.5 it seems. However next time I would choose earlier flight and rush to the destination considering the time and cost for one night, it's not worth spending limited holiday time.

Nice and cozy room, but overpriced. You have no restaurants or shops neaby. The mini Shampoo bottles in the Bathroom wasnt changed from the last guest, so I cant give a high rating here.

This was a disgusting place to stay, and I will not be recommending this to anyone that is interested in staying close to STN airport. The staff was rude, and they were very loud until close to 4 am - smoking and yelling outside the windows. The windows also couldn't close all the way, and everything smelled like cigarette smoke.

Arrived at 12.30 pm no staff so self check in,no towels in the bedroom. No staff on check out! I could go on but won’t !!

A bit surreal, the place was devoid of staff, night or day! The room was clean but tiny and very sparse of comfort, which is OK for one night but does not match the price. Also the name Airport Lodge is deceptive, it is 10' ride by taxi and that was 16 pounds. The following day i tried the local bus but it came 45´ late. At least, it was only 2 pounds.

I’d never stay here again. Weird vibes, no towels in the room, looked a bit run down and in need of TLC. The tiles in the bathroom floor were all broken, and could have easily cut my foot, if I wasn’t wearing socks!

It was difficult to spot arriving in the dark. It was an impersonal stay.

This place was clean staff are friendly but needs updating & TV stations are missing including BBC1.

Manager was very friendly and room clean and very spacious. Unfortunately, there was water by the toilet pan as it was leeking . This could be a really nice hotel witb a bit of TLC . Was really good price also.

Good clean room. Poor shower but for a one night stay Id use it again. Free Parking.

Needs a bit of modernising but fit for purpose

Conveniently placed, closer to the airport. Fairly clean room but it needs updating, renovating the floors and put new tiles. Currently, the tiles are a hazard as someone is likely to trip and fall especially on the right as you walk into the room. The towels were stained as is shown on the picture. The remote control for the television is broken and needs replacing. Thank you.

Cleaners are a nightmare ,the female has a fog horn mouth and the Pakistani one is a hateful miserable man who complains about cleaning your room after 5 days ! Bangs on your door aggressively for the slightest reason .no towels, thin blankets no shower gel no washing allowed on sight.charge you for parking .mattresses are dirty and unclean with springs popping out .At weekends full,of pissed up kids on drugs partying till silly o’clock .
