Good classic hotel to stay. Staff are all friendly.

Too notch stay in a great location.

The staff were not only friendly but were constantly cleaning. Sometimes old buildings look dirty even when cleaned but the whole place was so well maintained and finished nicely. The room was spacious and well laid out. Only thing I would say was a negative was the drain in the shower wasn’t draining properly and the floor flooded a bit but nothing major and the housekeeping was great to replace towels. Bar and front desk staff were so helpful and great

The bed was very comfortable, I wished there'd been a desk in the room. The bottle of wine was welcome.

The rooms are clean and a nice combination of historic and modern. The staff was so helpful in accommodating our party. The restaurants staff was fantastic and the food incredible. We will definitely be staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay! Every staff member we encountered was very welcoming and helpful, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We didn’t realize we had booked Toronto’s oldest hotel, which made the experience even more special. The staff-operated vintage elevator and Dianne Twombley’s artwork throughout the staircases added so much character, and we loved the unique décor on each floor. Our room was small but spotless, with an incredibly cozy bed. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice added touch and breakfast at the main-floor restaurant was absolutely delicious. There were a couple of minor hiccups—a slow-to-heat shower and a malfunctioning toilet—but nothing that took away from an otherwise fantastic stay. We’d happily return!

Quite a lot of street noise but the hotel was fantastic. Would stay there again.

Beautiful old building that has been updated with style without losing the old charm

Even though the hotel itself , the service, the staff, were great, the fact that it faces Queen and the windows are not noise cancelling, we didn’t sleep at all due to all the partying outside until very late. That alone , made the experience worse than anticipated

Our stay was quite enjoyable. The location was great and the character of the building was amazing.

Our experience at the Gladstone Hotel was wonderful from the time we arrived to the time we checked out. We received a welcome bottle of wine in our room and enjoyed some lovely dip with chips and vegetables from the restaurant. The bed was very comfortable and the decor with the curated artwork was really funky. We played pool on the third floor billiard room in the morning after having a delicious brunch in the cassette restaurant

The room was clean and very chic! Everything was wonderful, reviews say its noisy but it's an old building so what do you expect? I had no issue sleeping though, and I'm a light sleeper. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful!

Noisy location into the night. Basic amenities in the room. Small rooms. Easy to find/access. Near lots of coffee shops, griceries, stores, eateries and pubs.
