Clean, convenient parking right outside of hotel, in the middle of wineranks, good food.

Magnifikt! Jag är vanligtvis väldigt kräsen och har höga krav på boende och service. Detta uppfyllde alla våra förväntningar, och MER. Rummen var bekväma, personalen jättebra, poolområdet lugn och bekvämt. Allt var toppen. Som enda kommentar är att hotellet gärna skulle få ha varit Adults Only. Vi som kommer hit vill ju ha lugn och ro i den toscanska myllan. Vi kommer gärna hit igen!

Hotelli sijaitsi todella kauniissa viinitilamaisemassa. Hotelli, sen allasalueet ja koko ympäristö sulautui upeasti ympäröivään maisemaan. Hotelli oli kokonaisuudessaan erittöin siisti ja tunnelmallinen. Erityismaininta ravintolalle jolle ei turhaan ole annettu Michelin mainintaa. Aamupala erittäin monipuolinen ja maistuva ja siinä oli myös vaihtuvuutta. Perheemme viihtyi loistavasti ja upeat uima-altaat kruunasivat myös 10 vuotiaan loman. Erittäin kohtelia ja avulias henkilökunta

We stayed for one night, wished we had booked a longer stay. Peaceful setting, beautiful outdoor dining area and just a few minutes from San Gimigano.

The bathroom and shower are shared. This is not emphasized in the booking page. we wouldn’t have booked if we knew. But, the overall experience is fine.

Prima hotel met goed restaurant. Mooi zwembad. Gratis parkeren op eigen afgesloten terrein (‘‘s nachts). Eigen wijnboerderij met mogelijkheden om een proeverij te doen.

Breakfast was great, but dinner must be reserved in advance.

Hotel com uma localização muito boa para bate e voltas na Toscana. Bonito, quarto amplo, tem um restaurante indicado no Guia Michelin e foi o melhor café da manhã da minha viagem recente para a Itália!

2nd time there. Great family, Winery, and resort. Everything is immaculate. Centrally located at bottom of hill to San Gimignano. The restaurant on premises is Michelin ☆

Beautiful well maintained location! Amazing views! The breakfast buffet was great and so large! Particularly loved the orange juice and cappuccino machines. The restaurant on site has the same menu for lunch and dinner so pro tip eat lunch at the bar with a different menu if you aren’t going out. The shuttle only goes to San Gimignano and runs at 10, 11:15, 1:30 and 5:15. We wish there was a 3PM option but taking public transport is cheap and easy. This is an amazing place to stay to visit San G. The pool area is beautiful but a hot tub would amazing here! The air conditioning only works at certain times so if staying on property it is off from 8am-2pm and 7-9PM. Rooms can get stuffy during those times but you can open windows/outside doors. The AC is great when it’s on. Overall very beautiful and relaxing and would recommend!

Everything bout Hotel Sovestro was perfect. It's easy to get to, parking is right in front, we were greeted by staff (family owners!), our room had a patio onto the large and pleasant pool area, there is a bar with a very friendly and helpful bar owner, a Michelin star restaurant where the matriarch of the family prepares amazing dinners (wait until you see the breakfast buffet). Again, EVERYTHING about the hotel is top notch (location, staff, amenities, cleanliness, furnishings, the bed, the towels, etc). AND! the family has their own winery across the street where you can have wine tastings from delicious wines they create from their own grapes on their property. The value of a stay at this property is amazing. The patriarch of the family drives a shuttle bus to San Gimignano (2 km distant) every couple of hours: it is one of the best preserved medieval fortress towns in all of Italy. We walked back on a nearly deserted country road, view of San Gimignano all the way, one of the best things we did during our stay. Be sure and ask the way to walk back to Hotel Sovestro. This lodging has our highest of all ratings!
