We had a fantastic stay at Locanda della Posta and couldn't have asked for a better experience in Perugia. The hotel is in excellent condition and perfectly situated right in the heart of town—you are literally steps away from incredible restaurants and all the main historic sites. The standout feature of our stay was the breakfast staff, who were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. One member of our party cannot eat gluten and the staff went above and beyond, bringing out fresh gluten-free muffins specifically for them every single morning! It made a huge difference to our trip. They also helped us celebrate a birthday during breakfast by surprising us with a candle and delicious tarts, which was such a thoughtful, personal touch. If you're looking for a beautiful hotel with top-tier service and a perfect location, I highly recommend staying here. We had a great stay!

Great location, nice newly renovated facilities, good breakfast. But there are several serious issues. #1 There are several staircases from entry to elevator, it was difficult for carrying luggage. There is one staircase in our room right after the door entry. It is very dangerous each time go in and out of room. #2 Room is cold and blacket is very thin. So we asked for a blacket and it lead to issue #3 I found a bug crawling on the blanket. It was very scary. I killed the bug, took a photo and my husband showed the front desk staff. He changed a room for us. The next day, other staffs confirmed it was not bed bug. Still, it is a very scary experience.

The staff is the best, the hotel is very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The only issue we had was the noise coming from the other room and the cleaners in the morning that were extremely loud on a Saturday early morning. There is an obvious issue with the sound proofing.

There are simply not enough good things to say about this hotel. Wonderful location in the heart of beautiful Perugia. Lorenzo, Stefano and the lovely young woman at the front desk make up one of the hardest working, most pleasant and professional staffs in all of Italy. The hotel is so clean it sparkles and both the housekeeping staff and catering staff went above and beyond every day of our stay. We loved our time here at Locanda and we look forward to returning. the staff was super helpful, the hotel location was perfect. The concierge desk reccomended an excellent restaurant (altromondo). The room was wonderful!!

The staff had excellent English and were so helpful with the parking. Very clean, large room. The breakfast was unreal and extensive.

Beautiful, clean room, friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and fantastic location. We loved our stay and highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again!

Tutto meraviglioso e la colazione divina

Overall a really wonderful property, in a perfect location, with excellent staff, clean and spacious rooms, a lovely breakfast, and nearby garage parking. We'd absolutely return. However, a quick note to management regarding major roofing construction taking place directly outside our window beginning each day at 8:00a. This was never mentioned to us and absolutely should have been. Of course we recognize the hotel has no control over neighboring work, but it at least deserved some sort of notification or recognition to guests before arrival. Or perhaps an offer of a different room without men yelling to one another first thing in the morning and working literally inches from us, looking in our window. No privacy, no chance to sleep in on holiday. Management should have been honest and communicative in this instance rather than ignore it and hope we didn't care. Hopefully other guests weren't equally affected. We recommend travelers ask the hotel before booking if they can expect this same possibility as management may not be as responsible as expected for this level of boutique property.

This is an exceptional hotel which seems to have been recently renovated and is superbly decorated in every way. If you can, book a room near the roof top with a jacuzzi on the terrace. It makes for a very special treat. Very friendly service and good value considering the quality and the location. A great breakfast too.

This hotel is beautiful. We enjoyed two nights here right in the heart of Centro Perugia. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff from the point of confirming arrival details, storing bags until check in, and then there’s the breakfast. It’s sublime. Just right to start the day and great espresso as well. We could not fault this place and highly recommend to anyone searching for a little luxury for a great price.
